EQ - Anyone got a Buddy Key?

Hola -
I was intrigued to see the upcoming changes on EQ test with regards to pvp. I'd like to check out the server and perhaps give EQ another try in general (just came off a stint with CoH until extreme bordem set in).
Anyway, EQ's having some promotional buddy key program for folks that already have an existing account and I'm wondering if someone would be gracious enough to send me a key.

You have to be prepared for all the board trolls when you post ANYWHERE on the internet. And yes, I'm a big fan of humour, especially when it's f'in HUMOROUS!

Buddy keys are free, and I'm sure a ton of folks don't plan on consuming theirs...soooo, still looking for a key... or, I might actually be forced to pay the $20 for EQ:Evolution only to find out the game is still teh suq.
If you got a key you're not using, PM it over!

Begging for people to pay your way through a game isn't exactly going to earn you much respect.
Get a job, like anyone else, so you can enjoy the things in life you like.
So, what exactly is a buddy key?
You pay for somebody else's subscription to EQ? Or, you just get a month free or something??
Just curious, wondering how outlandish this request was because people are posting some pretty harsh responses, even if they are jokes.
My bad. I should have realized asking politely on any forum such as this for someone's unused FREE buddy key was going to bring out the board nazis. Anyway, it's definetly not worth all the a-holes comments to even want to check out EQ again. And most certainly not worth paying SOE $12.95/mo. for an archaic game, let alone the $20 for a retail box. Again, my apologies to all of you that I have offended by tossing out this simple request.

I posted this link earlier, but I'll reiterate it for you. SOE is offering current subscribers an extra, free cd-key valid until July for friends of theirs to try to the game for thirty days. Now can't you see why my asking for someone's unused buddy key would cause all the commotion?

Let's revisit the core context of my message: begging for people to pay for you to play the game is not a good way to earn respect. I suggest you learn to thicken your skin a touch if you're going to scrounge around for table scraps like this.
OMG ianubisi Read the damn posts, the guy is not asking anyone to pay anything for him, he is asking if anyone has got a Buddy Key, which were sent to all EQ subscripers by E-mail at the start of this month, they dont cost anyone anything, the were FREE, these 2 guys are simply asking if anyone here has not usede their key yet. and if they can have that FREE key if said person is not going to use it.
the Buddy keys well become invalid at the end of next week if not used, so come on guys, back down and stop being jerks

Thicken my skin? you're the one who came to this thread for the purpose of only to flame and make immature comments i actually came here for a reason which was and still is to try to find someone nice enough to send me a buddy key. u dont have a buddy key or already gave it to someone? Then why are you posting on this thread
It's begging, no matter how you try to color it, and it's distasteful. That's my opinion of it, do with it what you will.
Whatever you want to think that its called, giving away a FREE promo code is only beneficial to the parties involved. Sony might find an extra person to pay $13/month for their game, the person giving the code will probably have a new friend who might return a small favor later, and the person receiving the code gets to try out the game for 30 days.
No harm for anyone reading this post, unless one gets angry over people asking for help.

but to the guys that startd this threat. i am sorry to say i cant get my hands on any extre buddt codes i all ready used the 2 i got my hands on. but if you go to some of the EQ guild sites or some of the EQ main forums and ask there. you mite have better luck there.

Sorry max, already used my buddy keys. (Gave them away to some peeps on a message board).
And not sure what's up ianubisi's butt, but it must be huge. They're free, and I don't see how he would obtain a buddy key without asking. I mean gez, lol.

A buddy key was somthing last month ever EQ player was givin (for free)
to give to sombody to have 30 days free of EQ with a majority of hte expansions.
So really, all you people who were flaming about get a job and such, were just showing how ignorant and eager you were to flame sombody to try to act cool.
