Currently playing WoW, leaving WoW to play AoC. If I never played WoW i would maybe go to WAR, but i have to say AoC Looks 100 times better then WAR does, and this is only my opinion. At least AoC will be something new. I will probably try WAR if they have a free trial or something though...
I am a little suprised there aren't more haters...lol. Looks like most people are going to jump on to this one or atleast give it a try. I personally know that I can't wait much longer for this one.

That is the way I feel. I am playing PlanetSide til an rpg comes out. I miss playing the mmorpg's, but playing planetside is lots of fun for now. I miss the character build, not just exp, but armor, mounts, houses, and all that rpg stuff .....

Most of the newer games have really catered to a non-PvP crowd and thrown in PvP as an after thought. This game looks like it will be completely the opposite. I can not wait and I am bringing as many people from my old AC Guild as I can possibly find.
I anticipate I'll leave one o the two for WAR but I am not sure if it will be WoW or the other game
as for "the other game" it was VG for a while but I am kind of sick of it and it's problems so my subs will be WoW and eve very soon ^_^

For being on of the most anticipated games of certain years, the graphics are very poor. Specially Anno 2008.
We had these graphics back in 2002 already, another game based on the unreal engine? I wasen't going to play the game or so, but i was sort of interested in the game. Once i looked i saw terrible just terrible graphics. And the surrounding areas seemed really dull...I think i would like AoC more then WAR. Even though i used to be a Warhammer tabletop player. Sorry, but for me this is a fail, since this game will really be depending on its looks.
I'm not playing another MMORPG at the moment, and WAR is the only thing on the horizon that has managed to capture my interest. I keep going back and forth on AoC, but the Warhammer world appeals to me more than the Hyborian Age (in the context of a videogame, at least). I like that WAR mixes the darkness and grittiness of sword-and-sorcery with some of the more over-the-top elements of high fantasy--the best of both worlds.
I think when I get into WAR beta, I will say goodbye to SWG forever. I love SWG even after all the trouble it's been, but I only have room for one Game. I really think WAR will not have the depth the SWG had / has, However, I think the gameplay will more than make up for that. So, when the time comes, I will retire my Bounty Hunter and begin a new life as a Black Orc on the field of battle.

I will be leaving Pirates of the burning sea and World of Warcraft to play WARHAMMER.
If Warhammer is unplayable I will still leave wow for warhammer
There is really no way me and my entire guild will not leave wow for war. The game can be a 90% failure and we would still move and stop payments to wow.
They can release warhammer the way it is right now... beta, with no elves and only 2 wars going on with no end game instanced pvp and I would still,....call up citibank tomorrow and have them stop payment on all 3 of my wow accounts.
its no longer a case of "will these people leave wow for war" its pretty much "these people are done with wow, what game will pull them away from Warhammer."

I dont think war will topple wow... but the one thing that may blow a hole in my theory. WOW is a gear drivin , highly time intensive game. War is a casual friendly and casual focused pvp game. What happens when all of the casual players see that they can get more bang for their buck in war and leave wow?
WoW has already been turned on its head enough since the release of casual crafted gear. we can see that if you give casual players a punchers chance they can knock out the hardcore raider players.
I just say Wow is a really lame and lacks passion. This on the other hand, I can smell and probably taste!

I just noticed.... I cant leave wow for war, since I have to coevr WoW for this magazine.
I stand corrected. My guild will be leaving wow, all of my accounts except for 1 will be closed but because of work I will continue to enjoy blizzards first mmorpg "world of warcraft" on a casual basis.

Judging by the outcome of this poll....this community is dying for this game to come out, just as I am.

I loved DAoC, and have been waiting for their next title. With the money that EA can invest and their expirence with MMOs that's enough for me.
I have faith in Mythic and I know this game is gonna rock, just like DAoC did. I already gave up WoW anyway.

I think that will be the problem of WAR, the background story is so perfectionated. It will be really really hard to realise.
