I played it for a good chunk of time yesterday. I honestly like what I see. It really only needs 2 things worked on IMHO. The balance, this includes for quest rewards, armor durability (repair armor then 3 fights later it's near broke. Not good Gravity
). The other is the grind. I can say without a doubt. Out of all the MMO's i've played in my ENTIRE life. RO2 currently has the worse i've ever encountered.
The game is pretty. It runs well even on my dinosaur of a PC. Lots of stuff to collect, and places to visit.

Very helpful site if you are interested in playing the OB version krRO2

Is the grind even worse the Granada Espada? That game is ALL grind especially after you complete all the quests and start new family members. I'm waiting for the English OB before participating. I have access to the Korean, but I established once before that I can't read it, so why should I try playing? lol.
Let it be known that I hate WoW with a passion and will defend almost any MMORPG against it.
Current: FFXI (PC/360)
Want: FFXIV, Stargate Worlds, Star Trek Online

If you think GE has a bad grind then you will absolutely hate RO2.

Roin, how can you like what you see, and then say it has the worst grind ever? That seems like a pretty huge complaint against the game. What about it do you like that overcomes the issues you mentioned?
I don't think you actually understand how good the game is and how much it offers. Its so good, that even with balance issues and grind, its still too much of a game to ignore.
Don't forget that the game is level capped at 50. That aside, I think this game is gonna spend some time in beta. There are still quite a few things that need to be worked out in beta. Also there is kinda a lack in content passed level 35 from what I heard, they probably are gonna implement it during beta like they did before.

what's the gameplay like ? Is it fast paced ? click based ? grind rating ( X/10, 1 being slow 10 being super fast) ? and what are the controls like... I'm just too sleepy to read from the site probably gonna sleep now. Thanks.
Ro2 is not really a bad grind you wont be gaining 10 levels a minute but still they made it a fun grind and you wont even notice ive got to 11 i think the first day and thats not a bad grind considering there is only 50 levels. Havent played after that cause my char got stucked or something and u just quit
Im trying to play this game but when I click on the shortcut it gives me some message that I cant read. WTF
Im sure this will do me no good but Im desperate after eight days of searching,
I need a KSSN for RO2, Someone, Anyone, pleeeease Or an un-used account would be even better.

Thanks!
out of curiousity, how do you get into OB? i can't read korean and i'm lost on the site...hmm...i could care less if i have to wait for the NA version to play but, the kr version might be free w/ item mall (like every other Asian MMO in existance has through at least one of it's providers) so, it's got me somewhat interested
Check out the MUD I'm making!
This site will tell you all you need to know.

Very very very unlikely RO2 will be a F2P game. It's too much of a cash cow.
PS: Thanks again Cleffy for helping me find the RO2 Intro song.
Also it should be mentioned that RO2 uses a job system similar to FFXI. You don't get a sub-job, but you can switch jobs at will. They keep any gained levels. I also like the fact that your initial weapon or most weapons you find. Can be leveled up like a character. Really helps when you find a sword or something else you don't want to replace. Just keep fighting with it, level it up, and watch the damage go up.
