What is a good duo team, low and high level? My friend is making a warlock and I don't want a melee class because I have a zerk and a brig already. I was thinking a wizard would be a good partner, any other ideas?
Also any other opinions for what is the best duo team in general?

the classic duo teams are
*offensive fighter (bruiser, monk, berserker) or rogue + healer (probably the team that works best and has lowest downtimes)
* defensive fighter (paladin, guardian) + high dps class (mage, melee dps) (paladin has advantage of heals, but can also pick guard and team him with a neacro that has some healing too)
Harder teams that might work:
* 2 mages - you will depend on your crowd controll abilites (stun, root, stiffle) as well as on high dps to kill mobs fast before they can daamge you
*rogue + mage - this one depends on fast killing and the limited tanking abilites of rogue classes
overall if both players know how to play their class even some very strange duos can work. i duoed a lot in poa last week in a inquisitor necromancer duo (i was tanking with the inquisitor but i have a melee dps aa setup so with a classic inq you won't be able to keep aggro).
what about a healer / mage combo like a warden or fury with a warlock
If your friend is sticking with his warlock i think your best partner for him might be a necro/conjuror. You will then have your pet to tank mobs.
yeah now that I think of it I think im gona go with the conj that would be fun.
Believe it or not a Illusionist + Warlock/Wizard is a awesome combo to behold. You can basically keep a mob rooted and stunned the entire time you engage it. If you are on vent you can coordinate roots and stuns easily.
The Warlock/Wizard provides most of the dps and Illusionist most of the roots and stuns. Also the Illusionist's pet adds some extra dps on top of your already high dps duo.
Of course this duo really shines if you two box and have a good setup to do so. Been testing it out at level 15/15 and it just rocks so far. I suspect a necro/conj + illusionist would also rock as well.

The most fun I've had duoing is with berserker+fury, imho it must be the best duo group you can put to gether. Then again, its all about the skills of the people playing the toons I guess... even wacky duos might work, as said earlier. Another duogroup I enjoyed was palladin+ranger... almost more fun since it got thougher at times when facing mobs with stunns and such.
I have had good success with a Berserker/Inquisitor duo.
When I played last summer, the only good duo/trio was six people. But I'm sure they've added in tons of small group content since then...
