They really made Erudites look really really stupid.....they went from looking human to some like undead alien or somehting....there like super pale and weird looking eyes and stuff.....
and then if your still gonna have a "feline" race why get rid of the Val Shir.......I mean thats pointless.....hey lets get rid of a cat race and put in a cat race......
whats the point in that??????
I mean if your gonna do that add somehting else...like half-giant....goblin....orc.......or somehting.....but to add what was already there is stupid....

It is not stupid...it goes with the lore if you happened to FAQ yourself on it. First off...the Erudites were once humans as you stated but magic can do grave things to a race. (Thus the grey'ed skin). Plus who knows how much they really have too look like that. (How diverse is the character creation screen?)
Secondly the cataclysm that occured whiped out Luclin, as you see by the many screen shots. This decimated the Vah Shir race. The Kerran lived on Sister Island. Just through Erud's Crossing. This is why the feline race changed to being the Kerran. (They happened to live.)
So the point is that it goes with the lore. Half Giant? Play a Barbarian. Goblin...Orc...you have Troll and Ogre. So they have all their bases covered.
Simple as that.
im sorry, but that is the most ignorant thing in the entire world ( the bit about the taking away a cat race adding a cat race)
Vah Shir were exiled Kerrans or something like that(i havent read up on my lore lately)
Honestly looking at them can you tell the difference ? No.
Well the Erudites look kinda...um...lifeless. But that wouldn't keep me from playing them if i was into magic stuff...
And concerning the feline races:
Just think of them as the original ones...besides the new name they don't look much different...so what's the point?
Or an even better point: you have SIXTEEN races to choose from. If you choose a toon on the primary basis of looks then pick a freaking different one.
I personally like the way erudites look, and I might play one.
Things evolve....lets ALL try to keep an open mind.
If it was a carbon copy of EQ1, then I would still be playing it.
