I was just reading a few reviews not 5 minutes ago and was amazed at the number of worthless reviews. For example great one sentence reviews like:
"get this shit off the list"
"stay away this is junk"
"worst game ever"
also
"fun game"
"its pretty good"
and many others examples.
Now as someone who may be interested in purchasing a title, this information is totally useless to me. Call me old fashioned but I like to hear why a person liked or disliked a game. If they can't be bothered writing more than one sentence they should just leave their scores and move on.

Sometimes a game is so crappy it doesn't warrent wasting a few more minutes to make a proper review.
on the other hand, someone who hasn't experienced how crappy the game in question is will want to actually know why a game is so crappy so that they can make an informed decision as to if they think they will agree or not.

Then why bother with a one-liner at all? Such reviews are completely useless so if you spend a few minutes on a proper review at least it will help someone.
Saying one line isn't a review. Let's not glorify it with such a word. Call it just what it is, a person's simple opinion. I don't walk out of a movie theater say: "That movie was pretty good" and try to get that published. That being said, it's incredibly unhelpful to see people post that if someone is asking for an actual review, but if you want a review there are plenty of sites where you can get them.
