Buying EQ2 in the UK

kikinchazkikinchaz Member UncommonPosts: 562

Anyone know where i can get a digital download of the game here in the UK?

I just saw it on D2D - went to buy it and apparently its not available. I guess its restricted to America only or something stupid. The game isnt available in any shops over here, seems theyve stopped distributing it.

Where can i get the game with all expansions at a decent price? Possibly a retail CD Key digital purchase?

Is what you're looking for I think, one of the few places that still has EoF keys in stock.

Yeah i know but not if you buy it direct from SOE. On DLGamer it was out of stock. I found it on IGXE and their service was actually fantastic. They have a live chat if your having any issues or questions for £21.86 it was a pretty good deal. Didnt even have to pay VAT. I just registered it and it includes all of the content from the retail box - as it should.

Just downloading everything now...this may take some time :

Theyre extremely overpriced. Far far cheaper to just go to the shop and buy a copy or order it off the internet, unless their out of stock like EoF is now ><

Its not strange SOE games don't sell well in europe

They don't have a good support for europe, bad marketing, and then games are hard to find in any stores at all.

In other MMO's like WoW, Lineage2, FF-online, LoTro and even Horizons there where/are more europeans playing then US citizens.

But in all SOE games and DAoC there where hardly any europeans playing, just because the producers forgot that the european market is a very different one then the American, but at least as big...

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
