Which features are you looking forward to?

Pirates of the burning sea looks to be a very unique mmo. I was wondering what features people were looking forward to as the main reason they want to play.

Own, Mine, Defend, Attack, 24/7

Voted Other cause there was no "All of the above" option.

But yeah, can't wait for the Open Beta so I can be 100% certain cause right now I'm only about 99.99999999999999999999% certain that I'm going to buy it...

I am looking forward to being able to port from one of my ships in one city to another of my ships across the Caribbean in another city.

Sailing is boring and being able to instaport during this time period make sense.

I know there are many features people will like ,but try to pick a favorite. I just want to see what is the main interest of players looking to play.

Really hard for me to say.

If I had to absolutely chose one, I would say naval combat.  I like the idea of dif. ammos having an impact on the fight, and being able to influence the way the fight is going by the ammo you use.

Gah!  But then avatar combat just sounds so cool.

Grrr.  Naval combat then avatar combat.

Damn you for making my brain hurt now!

    Wish Darkfall would release.

    Naval combat!

And yes this is cheating a little, but naval combat includes boarding, which includes swashbuckling combat so I get two for one!  Hehe jk, the naval combat is more than enough

I just wan't to see sinking ships :- Pirate , Spanish and French.... As long as they sink in style then I will be  a very very happy bunny.

    stealing someones ship

it's not lootable pvp in the traditional sense, so I didn't click that.

if I were to kill a titan tomorrow and no CCP employees showed up to say grats I would petition it.
Waiting for: the next MMO that lets me make this macro
    if hp < 30 then CastSpell("heal") SpellTargetUnit("player") else CastSpell("smite") end

I am looking forward to icons over questgivers heads. I can't be bothered actually engaging NPCs to listen to their conversation unless they have a quest for me, it's also too much of a pain to actually figure out where to find the next NPC in the quest chain. Those floating icons really add to immersion for me, it's so realistic.

You know, we've already had this conversation.  It's over here in case you've forgotten:

The answers haven't really changed, so I'm not going to type them all in again.

I'm just curious as to why sam seems to have such a hatred for this game right off the bat....?

Have you played your (i'll call it "precious" cause it's in your sig) Spellborn?  Is it "gods gift" to MMOs?  I just don't understand your obvious extreme hatred of this game.  You haven't ranted about SOE which, as of late, has been the focus of all major haters...  I just dont' get your position...  Because the game isn't OMFGUBERREALISTIC it sucks?  Come on...  Check out the top games in Xfire, when was the last time the WoW or CS or BF or CoD were considered 100% realistic?  Never, that's when.  IT'S A MOTHER-FAWKING GAME, like wtf.....

With Pirates as the first game that I actually played, instead of just randomly ->L[CR].

And a new scenario, world, etc etc. I think it will be a great game.

I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention.

Well sama I put dramatic quests on there becsues its on there feature lists page like most the others.... Icons or not that could be a feature  that people look for in a game.(personally I dont like quests becuase theres always a right way to do things and i like to do things my way)

Stealing peoples ships would actually be under piracy since you have to be a pirate....lootable pvp is for everyone since you lose some of your cargo when ya sink or surrender.

I just wanted to see what people were interested in... theres alot of things that make games good and bad and one feature cant make a game. I image alot will play just because theres no orcs, elves, magic, and healing classes. Potbs main competition will probably be pirates of the caribbean and voyage century which both have a non subscripition model.

I just love the conquerable ports, PVP that matters! That it has no elves and magic is a very big bonus as well!
