I want to try a new mmorpg

Can somebody please suggest a good mmorpg, please. the thing i enjoy the most is character customization, advancement and so on, basically so everybodies character is unique.

    CoX, try reading the other 129039130918309 threads about this too. Some people have some great suggestions about good mmos that I've never heard of.

    i was reading other posts and Perfect World sounds great. but is it in Beta? if so is it closed or open beta?
