EverQuest II: 2 New Exclusive Screens!

We are proud to show off another pair of exclusive EverQuest II screen shots this Thursday.  This week we have some interesting shots.  The first shows a deer-like creature peeking around a female character and the other shot is a nice in-town scene.

    They look beautiful but I have two questions:

    1.  What were the specs of the machine used to make these screenshots?

    2.  What was the fps when they made those screenshots?

    Got me a major jones goin on for this game. I don't even give a crap about the graphics I wanna run through the lands of Norrath again while they're still fresh and unexplored (in the new version anyway). The excitement of finding out whats in the dungeon or behind that door, a good old fashioned dungeon crawl once more. image

    Somehow all the characters on all the screenshots I've seen look very unlively. More like porcelain dolls than something else.

    Having seen a couple of videos of the game in action, those screens look like the very first ones they put out.

    The second one is just awful. That guys just looks... beyond bad. The feet on the elf aren't so hot either.

    Although again beautifully detailed images, this is getting a bit stale now. I think SOE need to revise the way they are dribbling out snippets for this game. Screenshots in twos and threes, interspersed with the odd movie and a few NPC histories is going to get really annoying by the time the game actually comes out.

    Still, maybe there'll be a new approach once beta starts.
