Perhaps he messed up on the age too? Mixed around the numbers, so it would actually be 13...but GOOD LORD a 13 year old should at least know how to spell "would".

As for the post, it's Age of Conan no contest. Warhammer is just a WoW clone.

Please INFORM YOURSELF about WAR before saying such things, please. It really hurts, because there are BLATANT differences between those two Games, not even the Graphics look similar...(really, compare them directly, with two Screenshots on one screen, you'll see what I mean)...But feel free to look into the WAR Forum or the official WAR site to read about the differences, or just stay calm, ok?

As you may have guessed, WAR is a guaranteed Buy for me. However, I do see much potential in AoC, but much risk as well, so I'll have a close look on the reaction of AoC Players once it releases before I'll think about testing it out myself.

So if I'd had to choose in this very Moment, it'd be WAR for me.

EDIT: OH and btw: The ultimate Answer to his Question would be: "The one that's the most fun for you", and since there'll be months between both release Dates, maybe you are bored with AoC already when WAR releases, or you still have plenty of fun, then just stay there, where's the Problem?

Get both, play through your free month on both, form a decision afterwards as to which is more your cup of tea. Whichever isn't, cancel before your first charge. I wouldn't commit to anything before giving each a good play test.

If you don't have the money to try both initially... hope you get into a beta!

Right right sorry, it's an Everquest clone. My bad. Small changes and different story lines don't stop the game from being a clone. Hey, while your here though, why don't you bend over for me huh?

WAR it very much a clone of all the other MMOs out there it just follows the tradtional mode with out trying to be new in anyway I was very into WAR till i started seeing vids and screen shots and while the character art looks a little more advanced then WoW the background and zone art is very muchthe same IMO.

But the 2 biggest nails in its coffin for me was when i found out that the capitol vs. capitol end game would be instanced which just seems like a glorified AV to me. That and reseting PvP objectives every few days is lame plus realm vs. realm PvP is old and tired form of PvP that doesn't leave you with any sense of accomplishment as opposed to the guild vs. guild of AoC and you keep your stuff until some one takes not just the game decides you have had it to long.

But the biggest nail in its coffin for me was how in all the interviews I have seen of the devs they jump around and talk like a bunch of LEET WoW kiddies just keep waiting for the next words out of there mouth to be OMG I PWNZOR j00 with my UBER LEETSAUCE SKILLZ!!!!!111!!

Thats my feelings on WAR at least that i have gathered from what i have seen on the site and in vids and interviews.

Where as AoC is very inovative in alot of ways are thankfully doing away with the insanely boring target and turn on auto-attack mechanic.

Now I'm not totally against Warhammer, I mean after all the Warhammer concept is so much more engaging than Conan (they could have at least gone with something closer to this era =P). However the fact of the matter is, MMORPGs can't "end" and they must include thousands of players so changing the story doesn't make it terribly worthwhile to buy and play unlike console RPGs. MMORPGs rely on community & a completely unique game play experience and well AoC's has taken a step in the right direction where as WAR has only taken a side path that eventually leads back to the beaten trail.

Now I'm not saying that WAR can't be fun, I'm sure people will enjoy it though it is a clone. I've been playing MMORPGs since EQ1 so I'm good and tired of that system, in fact I was tired of it right after EQ. The only reason I continued playing MMORPGs is because every single time the dev's promised a "new" and "original" combat system which turned out to be dirty lies. So to all you MMORPG noobs, have fun with Warhammer as "sandwich" combat hasn't been beaten into your skull yet. For MMORPG vets, unless you really enjoy Warhammer and don't mind autocombat, I suggest skipping WAR all together and giving AoC a play (and if not AoC than certainly DFO).

fyi - if you want to flame at me to go become more "informed about WAR" like that last joker did, don't bother, I've already looked through the game and can post a fairly large list of comparisons/similarities to WoW should someone decide to take me up on it.

I think what really bothers the WAR fans the most isnt the fact that people say that WAR is a clone of WoW but that they believe that WoW copied WAR. Now I agree with that statement, but i have played WoW for almost 3 years and even though WAR has much better graphics (more realistic) than wow which it should considering that its coming out now where as WoW came out years ago, I really dont want to play it because it reminds me too much of wow. The game may be different but the areas graphics, the orcs dwarves they all remind me of WoW. I stopped playing wow because i got tired of looking at elves dwarves orcs trolls and all that fantasy stuff I wouldnt get into WAR because of that, mabye in the future I may.

To remain on topic though, OP learn to type so we can understand what the hell you are saying, and if you are saying what I think you are saying go with AoC, but try WAR too if you dont think AoC is for you.

AoC pvp is pretty awesome, from what I have read it reminds me of old school SWG and EvE pvp. Both those games are famous for their pvp.

after following both games for awhile now ive come to this conclusion

aoc = next generation of mmos

war = pinnacle of the current generation of mmos

Take your pick personally i'm goin with aoc it just looks better both graphically and gameplay, that being said it is an attempt at doing something new and faces a very real possibility of failure. If it succeeds however it will spell the end of war, likely before it is even released.

I love it how people flood over to forums designated for different games and bloat about how that game is the best. You have a forum area for your game.. so why are you here trying to prove its better? You're only going to get a load of people going against you with hardly anyone with you.. the only ones who will go with you are just doing the same crap as you. Coming over to bloat about their game.

War- Going to be a good game.

AoC - Going to be a good game.

Hmm... why are you all argueing about it, again? follow the blinking exit lights to your respected forums designated accordingly and take a seat there. Fasten your seat belts, and keep your tray tables in the upright, locked position. When the captain turns off the "No Heckling and boasting" Sign.. you will be free to boast about the game you are currently flying with as much as you like. Enjoy!
