Positionals :)

I feel like such a dork.  I've been playing this game forever and I never figured this out until today.  So I thought I'd post it in case someone else finds themselves in a virtual lifetime drunken stupor like myself.

Positionals:

I always knew how to work the positional attacks as far as having to be beside, behind, or in front of a mob.  But what I didn't realize is just how useful those dang things are for many things.

The stun for instance.  I have looked at my keyboard settings and always wondered why that action for "face" was on there.  I knew what it did (it spins you around to face the enemy you are targeted on), but didn't know why that would ever be useful.  Until today...

Here's what you do.  I have a movement that I can use after a parry.  The effect of the movement is to stun the target.  After I stun the target what I do is then move forward just enough to pass through the target.  Then I hit the "face" key and my toon spins around and I'm now facing a stunned target with its back to me.  I then use the positional for when I'm behind a target that carries a much more powerful hit and follow-up.

I put my "face" key as "C".  That way I can move forward through the target and then just move my index finger off of "D" to "C" to spin me around quickly to face the target and then hit my "behind" positional.  Just a suggestion.

I hope this helps someone.  I can't believe I haven't figured this out already.  I am now rolling through the mobs with my little Lurikeen Hero like a monster!!!

What you just described is why tanks love to fight other tanks - skill.  If tanks can close into melee range there are a huge amount of options and tactics to use against your oponent.

Since I didn't know about that skill, I'm wondering which other ones I don't know about.  Figuring this one out has totally changed the whole game for me today.

You'd be suprised how many things arent well explained when you Delve a style. like one of the rear positional Reaver styles that can hit from a short distance away, great for when people are running from ya to stop their speed goin up.
