Actually I'm playing Anarchy Online. My system doesn't even come close to that needed for Warhammer.
Well, at least AO isn't fantasy and its unique. Lets compare WAR to WoW
Races that are the same:
Humans, Orcs, Dwarves, Goblins, Elves
Graphics:
Well, just look at them...WAR just has a little bit better graphics, they look exactly the same really...heck even the jungle screenshots look EXACTLY like stranglethorn vale in WoW
Lets see...there are ! over NPC heads in WAR...exactly the same has in WoW, seen it at E3...wow that sure is unique
Interface from what I saw at E3 was almost exactly like WoW, except modified

Actually WAR will likely be superior to WoW, as long as it isn't another item-centric grind for gear it will do quite well

If it is anything like DAoC the WoW players won't stay. Just because a game that has graphics that remotely resemble WoW's graphics doesn't mean its going to be the exact same game. Besides, WoW players go everywhere.

I'm curious what is the point of this post, besides the obvious? Aion is in Beta/Alpha(whatever) and WAR just started Beta, I'm willing to bet that you're not in either and have no idea what you're talking about...
However if WAR is completely linear it will be a slight disappointment since I prefer the sandbox style games but I'm sure I'll still be playing it because of the PvP and fun factor. Same goes for AoC.
lol, someone reported my post...the mods won't do anything just because I think WAR will suck. I see people flaming SWG and tons of mmorpgs all the time and nothing ever happens to them.
And if I told you I was in beta, that would be breach of NDA.

yeah, but I want three innovative features that EAmythic have announced. I know they would have announced these "innovative features" if they could to brag about them and get publicity. And Aion you can fly, living vibrant world that changes, awesome graphics not more of this cartoony stuff. No Orcs, Dwarves or Elves.And WoW isn't innovative at all, they stole everything...and WoW pvp is the worst pvp I've ever had to experience.

Hmm, nope the game I would enjoy playing is Warhammer.
As for the "graphics suck" comment your refering art style not the graphics!
Just because you don't like Warhammers' art style is no reason to go around player-hating the graphics, the graphics are fantasic.

I'm not willing to do the leg work for you on your troll post, go to the WAR forums and check it out for youself. This game releases 1st quarter '08, I suggest that if you want to give the PR guys crap at a MMO company you should probably troll the AoC forums since they release in October and little to nothing is really known about that game.

Vanguard has awesome graphics, EQ2 and LOTRO have very impressive graphics also(nothing innovative there either). Several of the screenshots from Aion look like elves to me, if you call something by another name but make it look the same....it is an elf.

lol, everyone knows WoW copied pretty much all other mmorpgs...your post made a lot of sense...until that point. Now I see your blinded in your faith of WoW. WoW isn't innovative at ALL.Lets go through other games on the waiting list
Tabula Rasa: Sounds good, but I don't think it will succeed in my opinion, but this is on my waiting list and I haven't played it...but I have a bad feeling about it
Aion, I've already explained why...but...it could be bad, we'll see, from what I've heard it isn't very complete in its stage of closed beta. But the features sound promising.
Warhammer Online: This could be the second coming of MMORPGs, or it could be a big dissapointment, but I won't be playing it either way...I don't like the art style of the graphics and thats a big thing for me, I prefer more realistic graphics, it will be interesting to see what happens with it
Darkfall: This could be a great game...most likely vaporware, but it would be funny to actually see it finally enter closed beta
Pirates of the Burning Sea: Never been big on pirate type games, but it'll be interesting to see what happens
Gods and Heroes: heh, don't know much about it to give an answer
Fallen Earth: This looks way better than WAR, no levels and all skill based...FINALLY NO LEVELS!...what more needs to be said?
Those are the games I'm keeping an eye on

I just got back on these boards after a long hiatus... Why are we still ansering these freaking post?
At this point its a chicken or the egg type question and who really cares as long as your having fun?
And also of course War is borrowing from WoW, Blizz borrowed from Games Workshop.. yada ...yada...yada..
And to be blunt its all derivative. WoW ripped off EQ, EQ ripped off Ultima Online, UO ripped off Meridian and so on...
Until we get a game about wombats that uses a smell interface and lets you manipulate real world time, space and your genetic code... I don't think anything will be "original".
Aion will be nothing but a bug smeared across the windshield of the coming juggernaut that is Warhammer.
You guys can say what you want, write what you want. One thing you can't stop: WAR IS COMING!
