WOW very nice.  heh noticed though they toned down the blood, it looks very very realistic hopefully it will carry over into game play.

I had a bit of a Monty Python flashback during that fight.

    'Look, your arms off!'

I thought the exact same thing at that scene. But honestly now, how tough do you have to be to keep fighting ith a missing arm?

Very nice, I love the Stygian one handed edge that guy was weilding, this clip sets the scene up well for E3 as a taster and in relation too all the news that will follow over the summer. Awesome stuff, very atmospheric, Funcom have done a good job in portraying Conan in that clip!

Way too funny! should of had this dialogue.ARTHUR:Well, what's that, then? BLACK KNIGHT: I've had worse. ARTHUR: You liar! BLACK KNIGHT: Come on, you pansy! [clang] Huyah! [clang] Hiyaah! [clang] Aaaaaaaah! [ARTHUR chops the BLACK KNIGHT's right arm off] ARTHUR: Victory is mine! [kneeling] We thank Thee Lord, that in Thy mer-- BLACK KNIGHT: Hah! [kick] Come on, then. ARTHUR: What? BLACK KNIGHT: Have at you! [kick] ARTHUR: Eh. You are indeed brave, Sir Knight, but the fight is mine. BLACK KNIGHT: Oh, had enough, eh? ARTHUR: Look, you stupid b#*tard. You've got no arms left.

Much, much better. Sure was gruesome lol. Would of been cool if they showed a bigger battle or more fighting. Pretty cool though.

It did give a solid suggestion however that this is not a child's game. Blood, gore, dismemberment are all here. :) LOVED the mage, his spell and dagger. Hope thats one of the actual spell effects in game lol.

I dunno, the final line wasn't too bad.. he could have toned it a bit deeper to show more anguish and war-like rage.. as we all know conan to have had.. but it still fit alright.

I did wholy enjoy the combat portion of the film. I'm just saddened the Cimmerian inevitably bit the dust by the sorcery. But he did kick some ass before-hand! So he died like a Cimmerian should!

Looks quite good. Let's hope that's not all we see from Funcom at E3.

Its a new cinematic theatrical trailer for the E3 show this year. Its suppose to set the mood, you know like the warhammer ones?seen them?

Anyway, give it a few more days and E3 content will be spilling out everywhere, meanwhile there are quite a few posts with pre E2 content info floating around.

Yes i saw the Warhammer ones and they at least showed the races in game and the 'Pairings' Dwarfs V Orks, Empire V chaos etc.

While the AOC one was interesting to watch it didnt tell you much about the game it just set the mood as you correctly put it. Which is fine but it would be nice to see more ingame movies like Warhammer ahs done so i can fully make an informed decition on which one i like. Right now WAR has done moere in media information mainly in those odd movies where a dev explains the varios aspects of Wor's mechanics and as a consiquence i understand War a lot better than i do AOC.

Go and see those WaR movies and then come back and tell me that its a complete WoW clone.

    uh..

That trailer told the entire back story of the game. What more do you want from it?

HAHA gotta love it, but yea that trailer got me even more itchy to play the game.   Sigh 3 and 2/3rds months to go

Yeah... maybe you are under the impression that AoC has orcs... and dwarves or whatever... but it doesn't. There are three playable HUMAN races at launch. (So you saw two in that video.)

Also CG trailers mean nothing in terms if the game will actually be good or not. Watch the WAR trailers and realize it's nothing like WoW? Okay... well WoW has CG trailers... and they show the factions fighting against each other. So that's actually pretty similiar wouldn't you say?

CG trailers are fluff, cool, fun. Not insight to the gameplay or even the game mechanics, check out WAR's actual battle system. It's just like the traditonal MMO, looks a lot cooler in the CG trailer that apparently means so much.

Not saying anything at all about WAR, but there are plenty of AoC video's out there, here's a semi-brief list of about 60 videos. Unfortunately I have not updated it with all the gameplay video's that came out in the past week at the Press Showing of AoC at Eidos, in the next couple of days I'll be sure to do that, but if you are really interested, tentonhammer, curse-gaming, gamespot, gamespy, gamersinfo.net, and vg-reloaded all have video taken in the last 2 weeks.

Doesn't hurt to enjoy high resolution ;) - it makes quite a bit of difference in the feeling of the cinematic.
