...of Station Pass. Its like life support for all of soe's crappy games (mxo, vg, swg, ps). It was a brilliant idea on soe's part becaue they knew none of those games could survive on their own merits.

Im one of the vets that felt screwed over but even i get sick of the swg is dead ,its almost dead,soe sucks, blah blah blah.We as costumers had our chance and i believe we couldve crushed them but we didnt .I know a ton of people and im sure this goes across the board that cancelled 2 of their acounts only to leave 1 or 2 active or some others that would resub every 4-6 months and say they just want to see how bad soe screwed it up.We had our chance to be a power that could of sent a message to companies but we took our foot of their throat and believe it or not people are startin to go back and new players are tryin it out that dont know what it was like and just see what seems to be a bunch of bitter people bitchin.Ive seen more and more people in the swg room in ts playin.Believe me i do miss it alot.
I think the best chance vets have is to stop bitchin and hope the emu works out even if it seems to be run by a bunch or atleast one jerk-offs that threatin communities and throw fits when his ego feels threatened.
Honestly if you don't play it why care if it closes tomorrow or 9 years from now? I do think if more would stop paying SoE may actually get with it and actually add back what the NGE took out. But who really cares who plays and who dont? I dont and wont till they revert back to the game i paid for back in June 03...Ive seen the changes from beta to present and so far id much rather be back in beta.
Wait.. SWG is still alive? I haven't heard a thing about it since everyone stopped playing wayyy back when SoE totalled it and went bankrupt. Woops, I'm jumping into the future sorry!

I just wanted to say somethen. I see all your gueses views and I respect them. But this whole deal that they made station pass just for there bad games is a joke. It gives you bonuses in there flag ship and also will be working with other SOE games that will be comeing out.
Ok and about people are starting to go back, im a vet played back in 03 and loved it. Yeah its not the same game, but Im back in it because i just cant find any thing that still can compare to what it is today. Yeah you dont have all the options, but its still fully customizable unlike any other game.
Ok that was just my 2 cents, hope to see you all in game or on the emu when they get it done

no ya talkin' 'bout the past.. they killed SWG and replaced it with NGE.. anybody who sill calls it SWG is full of starwarsy and iconic.....
Both the Matrix Online and Star Wars Galaxies had so much potential... only to be absolutely fubar'd by SOE.
Oh well... what can we do? Submit countless e-mails? Sign petitions? Attend their lovely tea parties/FanFest? None of it works.

Find new game, hobby, or something. Stop supporting them.
Some are saying the game is 'fun again'. Glad some can make the game work for them and they can deal with the watered down BS that SOE pushes as the SW Universe.

If they had made the NGE seperately I would've been happy, sure I'd have been disgruntled that they were trying to change SWG but I'd STILL have my old game... But no, they had to introduce updates for a player base that didn't exist, it's sickening really.

And yeah SWG is not going anywhere, you might even consider it on a slow return as many seem to be intrested aswell many VETS seem to returning (incl.me), Its not the game "Pre-Cu" but its still a allot of fun, the community is different, not bad , just different, unfortunaly the "WOW Playstyle" of people playing these type of games is very noticeble, but there is also a very good amount of the more mmoRPG type of player, those that are not bound to quest/gear/loot. And when you notice this site/forum those who seem to call themselfs VETS and continue to be negative about this game mostly complain that its hard to compete cause someone else has more gold, or they blame it on the glodsellers who spam all day long (its pretty anoying but then again i only pass by them a few times no need to be standing around them like some people do, if they simply would leave that spot letting those goldscammers stand there by themselfs it might be a start at ignoring them. Or you hear the cries about the market is dead, as i also thought it was dead untill i discovered there still many playerrunshops around, its just when you look at the bazaar it might seem that the market is dead but its actualy very well alive if you play it right and if you not in it for the greed as thats also a thing SWG could do without and thats those greedy "MEMEME"people
Anyway still a few laughs when seeing some bugs that actualy been there since ever few new but hey its a game, when people get this disgrunted we see on this forum then well we all know its not because of the game but more likely because of things unknown to us. As like i said accept its a game that a gamer has his own responsibilty to either play it or not play it, failing to take that responsibility will ...well make one a very disgrunted person and probebly one that has a hard time letting go of the past.

INTREPID!!!!<-- lil zabrak Jedi Named Borias. I dont remember Dying to many Bh's, Killed alot.
Most memorable was the dreaded wookie BH BlackDeath well first time we fought 20 min to a stand off. Second time we just stopped and with Much Respect became friends. I miss that wookie.
Of coarse that show luck of the draw goes On Visibility too tho. I mostly spent time helping people FS grind and jedi grind XP on tatooine I was not very visible ussually. I was After the FRS era had ended.
But I do miss those days... It was fun watching a BH pop over hill take one shot that run away as my MLS/MDEF tore into them, I was one of the Jedi that charged directly too a BH and had pretty good Pearls and used a Dbl bladed Sunriders.
TBH tho I respected My BH live or Die they all had cool ways of fighting, some were really Cool. They would send you a tell simply saying "im coming for you", Some would hit you mid battle, Some would walk up and do a big dramatic PREPARE TO DIE JEDI SCUM!!!! some would sniper hit you from way way out. all of it was fun and exciting, there had been nothing close to that since then.
I miss the BH hunting me as much as I miss my Jedi...

Station pass is like brains for zombies. For some reason zombies need brains to keep being zombies. I am not sure the nutritional value of brains for zombies or how this actually causes zombies to remain zombies but the fact remains. Zombies need brains.
I totally rambled there. My bad. Anyways, soe games couldn't survive without station pass.
I guess my statement is that swg players must be zombies. Because:
Zombies + Brains = Zombie Life
SWG + Station Pass = SWG Life
Station Pass = Brains
Therefore
Zombies = SWG Players.
Its math and you cannot deny math.
