I am glad SOE took it over, its much better then its last company, yea SOE made some mistakes but they are continually learning with EQ2 and SWG. I was sooo hyped about vanguard many races and classes felt like pre luclan EQ all over again,seeing players argue with NPCs really added some depth to the game. Personnally i cant wait for the trial of the isle to be released to see how much changes they had made.

I really really hope vanguard gets better to the point of polished gold myself. I have some friends struggling to play it right now. I canceled my sub just because it isn't coded very well at all. But I do hope it takes the route of EvE and gets more and more subscribers as time goes on and it gets more polished and things get added in.
But right now it is a worthless piece of crap.
I cancelled vg just because they said that server merges would have no team pvp. When the servers merge and the dust settles, im hoping to resub, but hopefully all this is before aoc, or else my attention shall be diverted...
I am currently playing vanguard but sadly i dont think many people will stick around when conan comes out..
the game is nice and big with lots of quests to do.. but it really is nothing new yet again.. its is just an eq2 clone..
I will carry on playing for a while to see if it does get any better..
its not bad because of al lthe bugs.. i dont think its a bad game at all but nothing really new to write home about..
Give it time guys.... the only bad thing about vanguard is was released waaaay to early i have no doubt by this time next year... Vanguard will rock!!! it has all the features any one can ask for!!!
I only tested Vanguard in closed, but from that I can tell you it's not entirely an EQ2 clone. You don't have to see a loading screen every 10 seconds
That's why I've quit eq2 like 3 or 4 times now 
I hope $OE disappears, that would be a step in the right direction. Let companies that love games earn money and not companies that love money buy games.
