Is Vanguard worth it at all for a new player?

well went of to the local store and bought myself a copy of Vanguard SoH after i had watched some videos/screens from the game and thought it might get my attetion for a while. now im sittin here and havent had the time to try it out yet, but how ever im sittin here on the forum and watching topic after topic and comment after comment in vaguard related forums and trying to figure out if im even gonna give it a try. to my surprise there is absolutley nothing in this forum that describes anything that can lead to any conclusion if the game is any good at all. every written comment is either about something ingame or (how should i put it) To the outer limits of a galaxy far far away and beyond by several etherneties of posts about how much everyone doesnt like anything that SoE does,have done or will do EVER..

Now.. as one of those "little poeple" that have been rather found of almost every RPG game that actually can be rated as an RPG i sincerely wonder.. is Vanguard SoH a game worth putting time into? for instance... is there any large numbers of players or is one more or less forced to sitt in a shitty darkbeaten corner of a hell hole 6hours to find a group to team up with?.. how is the gameplay? stuff like that...
