Minimum Player Recommended PC Specs to Run AoC.

Hello AoC Future Community,

I'm not sure if Beta has started, but if so I have a question I would like answered by those in Beta. Please don't get yourself in trouble by replying to this thread with Beta information. Just send me a email on this website. What would you recommend for Minimum and Recommended Specs to run this game. Reading the MMODADS website got me motivated to take part in this game in order to join a group of players that want to play together.

Thanks

There is a link in the 1st post of this thread..

If your computer can run The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion™ test, you should be ok... ...Or so i've heard from one of the Devs.

    Hope this helps.

I always wonder why funcom keeps referring to oblivion as their example for system specs. That would be a much better comparison for WAR since Oblivion and WAR run on the same engine(Gamebryo 2.2).

As an added note, if you are looking to buy a CPU soon, do yourself a favor and  wait till the 22nd.   You will be saving a huge chunk of change, seeing how intel in pulling back it's foot for a swift and painful kick to AMD.

Prices on intel CPUs will be dropping drastically on 2 and 4 core processors. (by as much as 500 bucks less on some, from what i'm hearing)

Sometimes when games are released they run smoother than they did in Beta, and really people nowdays the processors dont mean nearly as much as your graphics card.

I have an AMD 64 X2 3800+, 2GHz with 2 gigs of ram (pc 3200) and an Nvidia 7950 GTOC graphics card and I can run LotR on maxed out graphics and it runs very smooth. I preffer AMD my self, it is cheaper and back when I bought my computer (nearly 2 years ago) AMD was better than Intel. I dont know how it is now but I do know that the main influencing factor when it comes to game performance is your graphics card, ram, than processor.
