Horrible translation

First let me say that the theme and graphics are great. I love the setting and the multiple character control that's reminiscent of offline rpgs like Final Fantasy. While some people have issues with the point and click, it's not a problem to anyone who has played a RTS game and had to move troops.

That said, the translation, typos and grammar are a barrier to enjoying the game. It begins with the tutorial providing Korean screenshots, pointing out, what is supposed to be, useful information. From there, most quest givers and mission information is so poorly translated that you cannot tell what you are supposed to be doing. On top of that, several mission details are overlapping in the same areas that it is entirely unreadable.

I hope they go through and fix all the text. Some of the stories look like they might be engaging such as the Al Quelt dungeon, but as of the last day of Beta, it is really hard to follow or care what is happening other than a constant stream of kill 150 mobs and wait in line to kill rare mobs.

Let me guess, you haven't played the game since release?

Cause all that stuff was fixed.

Your 'guess' is correct. In fact, I did say that it was Beta where I had these issues. Are all of the translations, typos, grammer and doubled text fixed? That would be great if they did.

They did a really amazing job. I don't know how far into the game the translation goes, but the St. Maria and Robe are completely cleaned up. The language flows right, there are no typos, the line spacing is correct, the icons have been replaced by English ones.

I'm usually very skeptical of "Miracle Build" promises at the end of beta, but the release version is hugely improved.

Yeah, I was suprised the translations were so good.  However, they messed up the skills.  Hopefully they can fix that quickly.  But yeah, it's like night and day right now.  I am at level 22 and still have awesome intelligent english.  I esp like some of the easter eggs.  Like Counter Terrorists WIN that made me laugh :D

Overall K2 did a good job on the translations, I hope they can keep it up.

Yeah, in the old GE beta, I got so many kicks and laughs out of just reading the texts of some quests, it's sad they had to fix it though, a good laugh every now and then was nice :<

I'm not sure why they thought changing the skill names was a good idea. In addition to messing up the database, it also makes it really hard to find information on them because most of it is written about the original versions.

Yeah, however... I do like the new names.  Some of the old names made no sense.  The new ones are much clearer.  I just wish they all worked.

At least K2 is working on it I guess.

Translations are 100 percent better and the game is much more enjoyable now.  I'm really impressed with how they turned it around.  I'll be subscribing to this one now.

There is a Chuck norris reference in the new retail translation, you can't argue with that, its great!
