auto-login issues

Starting with the big site upgrade, I am having a lot of auto-login issues. Every time I visit, I have to log in again and when i go to my profile, the auto-login box is unchecked. I view the forums from two machines, but both are behind the same router and would appear to posting from the same IP. I also installed IE7 at around the same time... So I am not sure if it is the new site, the multiple machine login or the new browser.. either way, it is a bit annoying.
Any suggestions for fixing it?
