You can call XP whatever you want,
    it's still XP
And you got nothing on Greenskins as you can't even notice the two biggest details on them.

Played so far: 9Dragons, AO, AC, AC2, CoX, DAoC, DF, DnL, DR, DDO, Ent, EvE, EQ, EQ2, FoMK, FFO, Fury, GW, HG:L, HZ, L1, L2, M59, MU, NC1, NC2, PS, PT, R:O, RF:O, RYL, Ryzom, SL, SB, SW:G, TR, TCoS, MX:O, UO, VG, WAR, WoW...
    It all sucked.

Throughout all of these online fantasy games... and I have played alot over the past 11 years, I have noticed a common theme and yes of course it's a no brainer... Experience... Through EQ1, AO and other similar play genres... it's called experience.  Never been any change... nope... never.  After a lengthy conversation with one of my friends (again another big Warhammer fan) we started to talk about chaos, just in general not about W:AR.  He mentioned that when a chaos warrior kills and kills and kills, he gains favour with his chaos God... Off this conversation we began to think of how cool it would be if instead of gaining experience (using Chaos as an example) you gained Favour instead.  Essentially the same thing ... you gain more "Favour" with your Gods you become stronger.  Perhaps with Citizens of the Empire you could gain "Valor"? Perhaps with Orcs you gain "Warrrgh"? (i know this one could be open for debate)  Or Pehaps with the Elves (both Dark and High) you could gain "Prestige"?  Im struggling with Dwarves so If you know what they could earn to improve themselves, say something please, Though I'm sure if I talked enough about it, my friend would have brought something to light that they could gain, being the big Dwarf fan he is.
I do understad that there will be other more important things that will take priority for the development of this game and after all it is just a name change (based on race) for an already common mechanic.
Please some feedback, after all, sometimes it is the little things.

Okey, I personally dont like the idea, because as I see it (useing Chaos) favour and experience are two very different things. A choas warrior doesnt gain favour from a god just by killing random stuff, but he do gain combat experience. Actually, not many has gained the favour of a god - and the favour comes usually in a form of deamonhood, or if your really unlucky...a chaospawn.. A warrior can gain and lose favour in the blink of an eye - IMO, Favour and expeiance should be kept seperate.

Waaagh!! as experience? Of all the Orcish words - this is probably the worst one you could have picked. Try something very simple like: DA POINNTS! lol, okey alittle better than that. Seriously though, calling orc experience for Waaagh! is like calling the Elven experience for -Winds of Magic-, or simply -Energy-...

As for valour... the same thing apply - Its a totally different thing. A warrior can have guts for glory, but doesnt necessary mean he can wield a sword. Another thing, i think calling XP for Valour takes away depth ingame RP wise. Here is why: if valour means an experience fighter, and offcourse, if you have alot of valour, then you are automatically valorous - obviously! But what if i wanna role play a wimp with a badass sword hand ?

My point is...from a RPers veiw, everyone wants XP, but not everyone want valour, favour, or prestige. Gladly apply the mentioned favour, valour etc but keep it seperate from XP and keep it optional.

    well thats my feedback

Sums my Opinion up pretty good as well. While the Idea as such isn't that bad, it doesn't fit too well with a Warhammer Setting. In an entirely new Setting, where one Races is a pure Creation of one God, and his Favour determines the Strengh of them, ok. But in Warhammer, this isn't the case, it just doesn't fit in there, and only bad things can occur if you try to squeeze it into it nevertheless.

Elgareth, I agree that in a different setting it might have worked.. Even in WAR this wouldnt have been a dealbreaker for me. But, since these two gentlemen who came up with this idea, has warhammer avatars and sigs and thought about this exclusively for WAR - I gotta say its a pretty bad idea.
