Seriously, we don't need any of the major characters. There is so much lore there. Give us a semi-dark hourly long show based on some random fighter pilot who IS NOT A JEDI NOR WILL EVER BE A JEDI and you have a hit show. You promised!!!!!
Im glad Lucas finally cleared up the mystery behind my favorite Jedi, Shaak Ti. They origionally had her killed in Episode 3, but the scene was cut, then they decided to put her down as "assumed dead" in the database. Theyve finally made up their minds, shes alive and is one of the Jedi you have to hunt in this game

So...I get to play as a dark jedi assassinating the remaining Jedi, working for Darth Vader, and holding my lightsaber in a unique fashion.
Is there a downside to this game?
If you're a die-hard Star Wars fan who hates to see canon shit on, there's a downside.
If you just want to cut people up with your lightsabre, then no, there's not.
Well, unless you're one of the SOE/SWG vets who would never play anything made under Julio Torres.
What part of te canon is being shit on? I know there was some question about a few of the jedi in the game being killed off that were supposedly being killed in the movies, but that has been cleared up...
For starters, Anakin/Vader is acknowledged as THE strongest in the Force during his rise and reign as Dark Lord of the Sith, yet now he has an apprentice who is stronger than him? Hell, Vader was stronger than the Emperor, only his anger, sadness, and hate allowed him to be clouded and ruled by him. And of course, there's always the Rule of Two.
From what I understand, Vader is training you in secret, the Emperor has no clue.

Every Jedi on the council could feel Anakin's power, Palpatine felt it which is why he determined to lure him to the Dark Side, yet Palpatine and the other Jedi could not sense another as powerful as this new "apprentice" in the game?

Well not really... The whole point of the game is everything is over the top.. So pretty much all jedi/sith in the game have crazy powers like that... or thats how its supposed to be..
So just because you see this new guy doing all kinds of crazy stuff doesn't mean he's more powerful than other force users... I also believe that this will not become part of the real Star Wars story line... It is just ... a "What IF"
What if the force was upped 10 times and you could bring down destroyers just with your mind... kind of thing

Heh, well that's cool. It doesn't really bug me too much, since we all know Lucas would make a logical ( to him at least) connection between Jedi and night elves, if it meant more money in his coffers.
I was basically just pointing out that the real Star Wars fanatics (which I am not, although I do enjoy the SW universe) will probably have a cow about it, and the points I brought up would probably be their starting point.
I'll play it if it's any good, I'll ignore it if it's not.
