That is of course if interplay somehow gets financing considering they have 0 money reserves like said.

Wow, they couldn't just die in peace they had to take fallout with them?

They made Fallout: BoS for console earlier if that wasn't bad enough. Instead of making a CRPG Fallout 3 like their thousands of fans, including me, have been begging for they're going to ignore everyone again and make another game that will be crap and won't sell. No wonder they're out of money they have no friggin business sense. Fallout MMORPG? It's going to suck.. 90% of the greatness of fallout was the desolate solo wasteland with dirty jokes around every corner. If it's an mmorpg you can count on them cleaning up anything dirty and having a thousand kiddies running around filling up the "crowded" wasteland.

While a Fallout MMRPG COULD be something extremely cool, Interplay has been dropped on its head one too many times. They butchered the fallout name by releasing that POS for the consoles only, and totally ignoring the ONLY fans of the fallout franchise, us PC users. Now their precious POS games arent selling and Interplay is a sinking ship. Teasing us with a fallout mmrpg idea is just mean. F**k interplay.

If Interplay would of made fallout 3 and balders gate 3 for the pc they would be doing so much better right now, but no they had to take their two best selling games to the consuls. Now there Going to make Fallout a mmorpg. There so stupid why don't they just give the people what they want, and that is fallout 3.

I wished bioware would of taken the rights to fallout. image

the game had only one thing on its mind (pure, unadulterated greed).  While all gaming industries has profit on their minds, Interplays was filled with greed.

They took every best seller PC game they had ever had and put sequals or "expansions" on consoles.  For example, look at the Baldur Gates series.  I personally loved those on PC....but while any normal company with good money making sense would put those sequels and "expansions" on the PC to keep the revenue flowing, they decided to throw them all on the consoles.

Their Marketing director seriously needs to get fired...lol, he or she probably already has been.

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

Yep. Never got that. I loved the Baldurs Gate series, but then they go and start putting the Dark Alliance offshoot of it on the console. And its like, Wth? I mean isnt that sort of like putting mario games on PC?

Fallout MMO would be beyond great.

But they would mess it up. Fallout is great because it isnt made for everyone. It has a FOLLOWING that other games hardly reach. If they make an MMO it would not have the dirty adult theme as the originals do. MMO which *should* be a stable will be neutered. If they keep it fallout, with mass players it would be great. But I highly doubt those geniuses think this would sell. (remember, the future is in consoles)

    LOL

Yeah right that will never be the future. The future will be in computers, and thats it.

THE PC IS THE FUTURE AND THE CONSOLE IS THE PAST

A Fallout MMORPG would be seriously cool! I just hope Interplay can manage to keep their finances in order and stay in business long enough.  Though I think it would still be cool to have another single player Fallout game some day!  Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics were a some of my favorite games of all time!

While no one wants a Fallout MMORPG more than me, this is laughable. Who in the hell is going to make it if the employees aren't being paid, The Underpants Gnomes?

Sad, sad, sad. Maybe they can sell off the Fallout rights to NCsoft, they seem to be hot for Online Worlds right now.

Interplay is just in absolutely no position right now to make a mmrpg. They take tons of cash and a lot of time. Unless they have other products they can release to keep them afloat, there is no way they could do a mmrpg. They should focus all their attention on completing Fallout 3 and getting it out the door asap so they can get revenue coming in. And for gods sakes they should keep fallout and BG out of the consoles!

If they make fallout into a mmorpg it would probly suck because they lost all the people that made the first two games. They would have to hire new people to make the new game, and it just wouldn't be the same. Even if they make a fallout 3 it would be different from the other two games.

INTERPLAY ALREADY MESSED UP THEIRS NO WAY THEY CAN LIVE NOW. image

This is sad... there is no freedom in mmorpgs... whats the fun of fallout if you cant steal from and kill NPC's as you see fit. It just seems wrong. By the way fallout 2 may have possibly been one of the most entertaining games ever made.

amazing! though i would rather stick to older games that are hosted by a smaller company.

i was thinking that the mmorpg marketing is too vast.
