Personally I think with the popularity of Assassins, Im going to go Druid of the Storm / Stormcaller, their lvl 80 spell looks like it will slow them down alot. The class looks fun to play too. Just wish there was more info out there on them like in a vid or some good screenshots.

Wow this video is AWSOME!!
i hope they have a good archer type ^^
but warrior seems so nice and brutal, comon!! just get me into the beta alreayd!!!! gr................
So hard to decide. I'm usually partial to hybrids and casters but this game has been hyping the melee system so much. As of now I'm leaning towads Bear Shaman or Druid of the Storm.
This is really a hard choice to make. My alts would be a Bear Shaman & Lich. My main would probably be whichever gets to wear the Spartan helmet with the feathery top unless that's the guardian. It'll be tough choosing between the conqueror or barbarian.
I honestly have no idea. I don't even know if I will play this game or not..though chances are I'll at least give it a try for a month or two.
Typically I end up playing a rogue type if the classes are decent. This is mostly due to the fact that I tend to not have enough time available to play to be with a solid group or even a guild at first. Its usually easier to solo on the rogue types..plus you can hide from the griefers.

Actually according to the devs that :48 is a Demonologist fully along his path of corruption. HoX should look even sweeter ins his fully corrupt, lvl 80 Demonic form.
All players actually begin to look different apparently depending upon if they follow the light or dark path. We haven't really seen a visual cue as to what the 'fully light' path character might look like though. But the corruption path is just so much cooler anyway.
As to the Necro pet. We now know that there is an 8pt pet system, with different pets costing more points. In the E3 Gamespot footage we see the skeletal scorpions, 8 of them, clearly the 'newbie Necromancer lvl 20 pet' which at level 80, with 8 points, you can call 8. I'd assume that the zombie guy called at the end of that video is probably the 4, maybe 6pt necro pet. I cant wait to see what the 8pt full on necro badarsed pet will look like. Let alone all the Demonologist pets.
Yea wouldnt mind seeing a fully fledged HoX but mainly some Druid footage or in game pics
Hard to say. For me personally its always been a toss up for classes. I never liked the idea for classes, never will, I love playing "hybrids" at best. Naturally since im a hardcore PvP'r, I keep the PvP aspect in mind when I choose a class.
The barbarian looks like a great slice and dice melee class with a ton of different tricks and the conquerer as well if I want something thats tougher. Never really liked the tough tanks, though Dark Templar looks like a great solo PvP character. I used to dislike priest classes but after playing a shadow priest in WoW (they rocked) I like the idea of being able to heal myself and use offense, so maybe Druid of the storm or a bear shaman with more offensive skills developed. As for mages, the Herald of Xolti/Lich (melee mages) sound AWSOME and I like the idea of being able to morph and still cast spells. So it looks like I may have alot of experimentation to go through before I choose my main.
As the topic says. I can't fit all the Archetypes in this poll so please post what you'll most likely choose.
Warrior all the way. I've done spellcasting, healing, rogue and just about everything else under the sun in other games. Nothing is more satisfying than being a meatsheild/tank/hack n' slasher type for me. I just love it. I am a simple guy with a taste for pwnage and visceral joy. I like to crank the sub bass and feel the hits cut sinew. Oddly enough in old school AD&D I liked playing a magic user (wizard in later versions of the game)
In DDO i played a pally/rogue build and got lucky with getting a vorpal. There's no better tank in that game. I tried all the classes out too, including barbarian. I like absorbing damage and dishing it out. The vorpal was the icing on the cake.
No idea yet. there are so many to choose from. I Like having alot of options, its one of the best things about this game not having to be subjected to only a limited number of classes like other games.
My main character will be a barbarian! but I'm also gonna try out herald of xotli (I have always liked hybrids). lich sounds also cool, but time will show
Well original I planned on playing Conquerer. I was going to use sword and shield most of the time and polarm when I felt like it. not sure how specialized we will be in a single weapon but hopefully doing both will be an option. I like the fact that you can buff party members too. but since conquerers specialize in dual weld and two hand weapons I'll play some thing else.
Dark Templar sounds kind of cool with their life drains. They use only one handed blunts and sharp weapons though so AOE farm might not be as good. that leaves only guardian that can use sword and shield and Polarm. I didn't want to be a tank but an offensive style heavy armor warrior. But I'd have to sacrifice a shield and dual weld for conquerer, and I dual welded in the last two MMO's a played so not again. Or sacrifice polarm skill and have some dark magic. I'm leaning toward Dark Templar for their vamperic abilities but we will see.
If Conquerer has a single one hand skill set with a shield I'll probably still play that class. Aquilonian of coarse.
My first character will most likely be a Bear Shaman. I like the idea of being able to be a healer class for when I'm playing with my RL friend group, but I also get to attack using two handed weapons and even ranged weapons. I get to do everything
I thought I was gonna see alot of barbarians since it is Conan but im surprised. I my self usually make a few low lvl alts with different classes because you wont know how fun they are till you try them all. I ended up playing a priest in wow as my main and I have always been the melee dps kind of guy but I ended up enjoying healing and keeping people alive. I am mostly aiming towards one of the mage classes but not sure which.

I am leaning towards casters, since I think most people are going to go melee....

Some sort of ranged character. Maybe a priest. As long as the game is fun it matters little.
Definatly Lich or HoX. The idea of a melee caster is amazing

I know there will probably be tons of them at release, but its still what i wanna play.

And alt may be Barbarian.
First a Ranger, then a Lich, and then a Conqueror, then we shall see form there
I'd vote assassin, but then again thats just me because I love to play stealth classes
