PvP game

me and a friend are looking for a fun game to play that has a lot of pvp and is easy to get into, and is perhaps fast paced...

 

we liked SWG for awhile but it gets old fast and the pvp in the exact same thing over and over again...anybody got any suggestions?

    Lineage 2 has the best PVP of any MMO on the market. Only thing is that you have to get at least Mid Level-High Level to really take part in it and that could take you months even if you are a Hard Core Player. You may also want to look up 2 Moons, it goes live in a couple of days and it also will be free to play. Its supposed to have a focus on PVP.

    im playing on lowca atm...sub end in a couple days so looking for something else to do when im not doing stuffs IRL

    If you want pvp that matters, actually effects the game in some way, I'm going to have to agree with newbloodd here. But like he says easy to get into; the pvp starts around lvl70, and getting to 70 is a pain without botting or ebaying or multiple accounts (buffers, make you friend play a healer ) It's worth it, but yeah if you willing to work for it, Lineage 2 is the game. www.l2blah.com - look at the Bartz server to get a sense of the community, and you might want to search for a vid called Rivals or Rivals 2 to get a sense of how epic and glorious the pvp can get.

    If you want to grind every minuite of every day to reach anywhere in L2 then PvP isnt to bad when you get high enough.  Guildwars is a lot easier to get into with much more pvp.

    WOW has pretty good PVP now that they added in the arena system and more world PVP(On heavily populated servers, world PVP is still pretty active, especially in Nagrand).It's easy to get into and doesnt take too long to get to level 70.Even before then, you can fight random people you incounter throughout your leveling and play in the battlegrounds.The BGs get boring after a while but the arena system is always fun and has a lot of skill envolved.There is 2 on 2 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 arena PVP so you and your friend could do that together.Despite what people say about WOW, it's a great game, doesn't take a year to level, and up to 70 isn't a grind at all.

    well, the aspect of a mmo (lots of people, lvl'ing or skill system, lore, adventure, storyline, etc, would be secondary things to do when there isnt much, if any, pvp at all

    Lineage 2 the best PVP uhhhh if you say so but if you like a very good pvp system I would have to say try out Dark Age of Camelot it has  the best pvp system ever. It is really good on the classic servers more people and you can start to pvp at lvl 1 if you like to your choice.

    i was looking at tabula rasa, but it isnt out yet, does anybody know when it is coming out?

    Lineage 2 if you want a REALLY hard game with good PvP.

    Warhammer if you're patient and want the best.

    EVE if you want a free for all type of PvP with beautiful graphics but slow gameplay.

    i play eve online currently on the side, waiting for skills and such...the pvp in eve is kinda cool, but it is much more slow paced then id like

    You post a PvP thread then say waiting on Tabula Rasa. You would be dissapointed in the PvP sorry I was looking forward to it too but looks like PvP is not going to be a big thing in the game. That is a shame if TR was more PvP based and they posted more info on PvP I would be excited but right now to me just looks like another Auto Assault in the making.

    ive heard the same thing about there not being much pvp but someone that is in the beta said something about there are arenas, instanced pvp, which is good, will probably keep balance to numbers, and clan wars where you basically declare war on another guild(clan, w.e) and it is all out pvp...it is enough for me, i just really like what the combat system will be like, third person shooter and all that
