What's up wit this Issue 9 really made this game more popular? should I come back to tryout issue 9 lol. I tried it briefly during the free weekend but wasnt enough time to figure out what i was doing
I guess i could start over on a blue and then get some major exposure to inventions that way. too bad i cant get my stupid friends to play. they're either playing console games or WoW 
and my old VG, mastermind, they probably dont remember who the hell i am.

Since PvP is entirely avoidable, and I mean -entirely-, I'm not sure I understand this. That said, the invention system opens up the build possibilities for characters exponentially.
Actually, he's bummed with the pvp not being better.
Speaking of popularity for Cox, id like to see some updated sub numbers and see if people are coming back in numbers to the game.
Always wondered, what the hell is Cox?

Issue 9 added a crafting component to the game that many players have been asking for. It also added an "auction house" that you can sell your wares more easily. Many of the invention enhancements (IO's) are better than Single Origins at higher levels, plus they have set bonuses.
You don't need to be in a SG either to get invention salvage. You don't need a SG vault either to store the invention salvage as there are vaults ingame for those that do not have a SG or a vault in their base.
All in all was a good Issue that didn't break the game with new enhancements. My 50 scrapper that had all 53 SO's is not gimped now with the new IO's, but as I get the parts and recipes I am making him even better.
with i10, it seems pretty busy still. it's great cuz now i don't have to wait around for a pug to get into some but-kickin action! woot
Another good thing about I10 is that they made rikti invaders non-level specific. So a minion is even-con to you regardless of your level. That way everyone 1 thru 50 can participate regardless of the zone's level range.
