well ive tried WoW, quit it and now im playing LOTRO... I enjoy playing LOTRO a lot!

And im not sure about this, but i think its too late to start EQ2...

I'd say LOTRO all the way!!!

    Played almost everything...
    Currently playing nothing...
Waiting for: Darkfall, WAR, Guild Wars 2.

Well without knowing what you like in a game its hard to recommend ..but of the three .. I enjoyed EQ2 the most. Wow and LOTRO are both good games .. but the WOW community SUCKS and at times it can be hard to get into. LOTRO is still very new .. and is lacking alot of content at high end. EQ2 has tons of content, a great community and all the features of the other two plus a lot that WOW and LOTRO don't have. In my opinion EQ2 is probably the best MMO on the market right now.

I second the EQ2 recommendation. You have many classes to explore, along with some fairly good sized zones (except the cities, which are odd because they're spread out over many zones), lots of equipment that is good without having to raid for it. And crafting is fun, even if you don't make money at it (just make your own furniture for your house :3).

As long as your computer can handle it everquest 2 is the better game. Everquest 2 is a bit more hardcore than WoW but the grind really isnt that terrible and to be honest you will have much more fun leveling in everquest 2 than in wow. In wow you just do quests all day long which gets pretty repetitive. In everquest 2 there are countless group dungeons and instances to explore that are really quite fun to level in. Also contrary to what most people believe everquest 2 can be a great pvp game aswell. There is a pvp server called nagafen and i strongly encourage you to try playing there if you enjoy pvp. Lord of the rings is a lot like wow but lacks content imo. Turbine has promised frequent content patches for it though so it may have a future. It is a very easy grind. If you dont like grinding or dont have much time to play i would play lotro.

Have you played any mmorpgs and if so what were they and about how long did you play them?

Hard to tell you what you should pick without knowing a little more of what you like.

Wait for Warhammer or Age of Conan if you want solid PvP games.

Get FFXI if you have a LOT of free time and want a deep game.

Get EVE if you are humbled by space and want a game with depth, a strong market and a great community.

Get WoW if you want great game-play and fun skills tied together with a poor community and being pushed into raiding dungeons daily at max level.
