Yes it's true! Another round of beta invites went out today, for all servers (NA and EU). It was another small batch, but check those inboxes! You can also log into the beta center and check your status there in case you're worried the invitation email might not have made it past your spam filter. We're still in the process of sending them out, so keep checking!

Where is my invite?...
Yep, looks like I'm still waiting as well, any idea how many batches of beta keys they are sending out?
only spam in my mailbox
I think about 100 beta key
A what?! A 100?! Shouldn't it be more like... 100 000?! Damn... looks like I'm waiting till 2008
they r still in the very early stages of beta.. so they wont be sending out very many...
Didn't get anything neither.
Since their in tech beta i guess they don't need a real load of testers hence why the batches are so small.
Might be a while before any of us gets to be a part of this cool looking game xD
I guess i was lucky getting in then
Guess so.
Dunno how their choosing the invitees, i signed up soon after the sign ups were launched for EU and i've heard nothing, maybe they're going by other stuff like being a beta tester for DAoC.
Those who signed up for the newsletter early and are DAOC subscribers have better odds than those that signed up late for the newsletter or not at all. Also, if you do not have a DAOC account your chances are lessoned and the longer your account as been around the better your odds are. I am sure there are some people who got in that have never played DAOC and did not sign up for the newsletter the first day, but my guess some random lots are drawn and there are ways to increase your odds.
Something to think about, there is what 6 months left until release? So why do you want in beta now? It is not as though it is a fully functional bug free game with so long until release. Then you will need to deal with character wipes and experiencing the game way before most people will and this can lead to an early burn out of the game. The only reason to want into beta at such an early stage is if you just want to help get rid of bugs or think that the feedback you give will help shape the game. In the latter case, there is only going to be a small amount of invites if that is what they want. In the former case as the months go by I am sure the doors will open up a lot more to get those bugs removed before it goes live.
I think many people want to get into beta because they want to play the game, but it is important to remember the game is not complete at this stage so you might not be having fun in beta and it just might be a lot of work. Just wait until the game comes out because you will have a much better experience than those who are in early beta of any game.
I got one although that is about all that I am allowed to say. It certainly came as a surprise, I wasn't expecting to get in for a long time yet.
