When you buy the Echoes of Fay all in one pack, it claims that the first 30 days are free. Do you need to have a credit card or gamecard to activate the account at first ?

A credit card is required for the account setup, but nothing is charged until after the 30 days free period.

Another quick question. Is the crafting system very interdependant between crafters like it was at launch, where for example when making a caster spell you needed someone that could scribe, inks from a chemist, paper from a woodworker... so 3 crafters to make one spell? or has that changed?
No, you don't have to rely on others to make your crafts anymore.
