I've just broke up with WoW and I'm searching for a new (preferrably f2p)MMO to hold my intrest until Age of Conan/Warhammer.
I've tried just about every decent looking free-to-play MMO out there, but every one of them goes sour within a month.
IF anyone could help me find a fresh game, it'd be greatly appricated.
What exactly I"m looking for:
1. PLEASE GOD don't recommend Runescape. I've played it, 9Dragons, Knight Online, Shadowbane, Flyff, Rapplez, Space Cowboy, Dungeon Runners, Gunz, Tales of Pirates and MAple Story, hated/got tired of every single one.
2. 3D, decent looking, realistic graphics. No cutsy chibi anime characters...
3. Should have a realitively easy learning curve. Clear interface, nothing to complicated to figure out. Something a new player can just hop right into without having a lot of knowledge of MMOs.
4. More than 1/3 of the players speak English.
5. Should have a good strong community backing it up, something that has a lot of protection against hackers/thrid party tool users.
6. Fantasy/Sci-fi based
7. Not click to move.
8. Low level cap, and easy to level. Quests are easy to understand.
9. preferrably every single quest isn't isntanced.
10. Doesn't require grouping for most of the lower levels.
11. It isn't in Chinese/Korean some other language than English and the peopel that run the website know how to spell...
That's a basic list of what I want... I hope someone can suggest something...

you ever consider playing city of heros/villians at all? I played that game off and on since its release and everytime i did come back to it i found it to be even more enjoyable than the last time. The one thing i always loved about that game is that(unless there are people going for a certian theme) there are no two players that look alike, and u always see the enw creative ways people make their heros/villians
The thing about F2p is you get what you pay for.
COX although a P2p Is an awsome game
"One word, Thundercougarfalconbird."
Based on your criteria youre best off with EQ2. You could also play LOTRO but compared to EQ2 its an insane grindfest. I hit 50/70 in EQ2 in 3 weeks~.
Have you tried paying for dungeon runners? Its the cheapest game on the market and the way you progress through the lvls really takes the grind away but F2P its pretty grindy.

Yeah, I got the 14 day trail about a month ago. It was fun at first then it got a bit repetitive, and i didn't like how just about all the missions were "instanced".
