Back when PK'ing was part of the game.  Run fast, or die quick.  The risk was always fun.  There were ways around getting ganked,  i found them.   I eventualy PK's a lot too,  back in like 1998  it was exciting.  I miss massing reagents on my mules so that I may have gear for when i died, because I WOULD DIE, and often.   It was fun times.  UO Pacific 1997-1998,  UO Chesapeake1998-2002.   I miss my old life.

Oh I remember screaming at the monitor plenty of times!  But it made it all worth it when something went to your advantage.  I think getting frustrated and not having everything go your way is what made UO so great.  You had a story to tell after your adventure wether it be good or bad.

Oh, you have to remember back in the day we didn't really have (expensive) stuff.  Sure we had our Vanq weapons, but its nothing that would take hours to get again.

I still play UO and though I've always been mainly a PvM type of person I do support and hope for a re-birth in the PvP community.  I hope that this new PvP Focus group can actually  improve things since it's largely made up of old veteran pvper's.  Maybe in a year there will be something worth you returning too.
