Syberfly Out
I Live for the One, I die for the One
Well for those that care I got Nightfall.
It has a load of quests in it, and is pretty fun. I tried out Factions with the buddy key as well, and sure enough I will get that to eventually. The difference between the two is that Nightfall has more content and a bigger storyline overall, along with heroes you can command, and 2 different classes (Paragon and Dervish). A dervish uses a scythe while a paragon uses a spear. They are both cool classes but I like Dervish better. Nightfall is Egyptian based, and there are plenty of new items and stuff to go with it.
Factions has an asian themed to it, and also has two classes (Ritualist and Assasian). I did not try Ritualist, but Assasian was really cool, you get to use daggers and stuff. This one however doesn't have as much content as Nightfall. Nightfall is for more PvE, while Factions is PvP.
So if your debating on which to get, its really just if you like PvP, go Factions. If you like PvE, go Nightfall.
Nightfall! It's way better than Factions.. the story of factions is the same old same old crap: guy wants to gather an army by turning ppl into obedient monsters and your job is to stop him by killing him... well, all rpgs are like that, or pretty similar, but in Factions they didnt developed the story as well as they could have... Also, the scenario of Factions makes me wanna puke. its pretty nice at the begining until u reach the mainland which is a total crap. dont get me wrong, Kaineng Center, for instance, was pretty well designed. but when u step into the explorable area u see nothing more than old buildings and citizens living in misery, which could be good if they hadn't exagerated in the scenario. It consists on small barracks on top of each other as far as the eye can see and i think they would do better if it wasn't so... i don't know... endless!... In Nightfall you have a calm scenario, if u know what i mean. It's an African scenario and, therefore, it's awesome. I don't know if i-m the only one, but i like these nature scenarios which scapes from the turbulence of cities. Plus u have more missions, more map (i think) and better skills. And the professions are alright. Dervish is a kick ass warrior with extremely powerfull skills and Paragon is like a range typed profession that uses the spear, instead of the bow and arrow, and as lots of motivational skills which makes it perfect for a team.
i have all three i think the best of all was the first one, closely followed by Nightfall and way in the back, Factions
My point is: assuming that u have Prophecies (the first one) go with Nightfall, but it's only my opinion...
I hear Nightfall is an excellent for start for those new to the game
BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.
Factions: fastest place to lvl up, sort story (only 13 regular missions), comes with sin and rit, comes with two sides to join for pvp (kurzick and luxons), comes with rewards when u beat the last mish, etc
NF: faster to lvl up than prof, not as many mish as prof but alot harder, you get heros (your own henchmen), comes with derv and par, requires you to quest more (to continue the story), comes with rewards when u beat the last mish, etc.
Factions tends to be the more pvp oriented so if you're into that i would suggest factions, sins r gr8 in pvp but mainly disliked in pve, and rits are the casters that can heal, nuke, summon spirits, etc.
NF I find is the hardest game of the three, heros come in real handly they eliminate the need for hench but there not the brightest, dervs r fun to play, paragons mainly focus on party support but can effectly deal dmg aswell.
I suggest get both if u love GW, other wise get NF, unless you're a real pvp freak then get factions.
My spoon is too big -_-
Both as they are both part of the same game...
