I was wondering if it's worth it or not to start playing at this point in time when everyone else is already at a high l.v.
So if you have an opinion on this please say it because i have no idea weather or not its worth it to play.

You can jump into a MMO at any point and fit in because vets are always making new toons. WoW is very user friendly which will make it easy. I'm not a fan of WoW. I got boared too easily because it is basically gear based. If you like that sort of thing then you'll fit right in with all the gear obsessed kids lol. At this point WoW is the best MMO though. I'm waiting for WAR, which will be a seriously beefed up WoW IMO. Many don't like the comparison, but if you do your research it is very similar.
I'd recommend trying out the WoW free Trial.
I think you will like WoW and theres always people around no matter what level you are. It is fun to level your toon and its very user friendly and like someone said, easy to get into. Quest rewards are nice and the instances are fun (as long as you dont do em over and over and over). The best way to level is by doing quests (it may be a bit slower than instance grinding but instance grinding is insane and will burn you out), they are fun and well balanced. If you want great pvp you wont find it here, this is mainly a pve oriented game with some decent pvp.

Ive personally come back a few months after BC is out and yes i can still find players for group, like the ring of blood quest, and sometimes those lvl 70 players will come and help when they are farming in the area...
And right now at 70 i just started questing in Back edge mountian, hopefully to get enough $$ for the netherdrake mount by the time i finish all quest.... and pvp here and there for some pvp armour.... other than that there's really not much things for me to do any more as i dont like to RAID, which is another rep grind for the keys....

In my opinion, starting WoW again with a level 1 isn't much of a bad idea. If you have good helping friends willing to help you at any way then go for it. Only spending about 10 hours first day of WoW you can get to atleast 20. then the rest for 2-3 hours you'll get to 60 in about 3-4 months. They key thing is to remember what you've learned for the past month or years playing WoW. This is an advantage to older players than newer/noobie players. Or any other way, like spending 10-24 hours a day can get you to 60 in 2 months and then 70 in a week or two. But I'd revise not doing that so you won't get to obsessed with the game.
HAIL THE WARRIORS
I left WoW about a month or two before The Burning Crusades expansion came out, was just spending to much time on the game and not enough on my kids. I came back about 3 weeks ago now, just playing a few hours here and there I am not as hard core into it as I was previously. The game is still alot of fun but it is Gear Based, no matter what anyone tells you. Starting at at lvl 1 is really no different then coming back at lvl 60 (With the exception of the level grind) The people in the game are normally easy to get along with and grouping can be fun and helpful to meet new people and get a guild.
The choice you need to make is PvP server or not! I am on a PvP server and it can be a little more challenging to level with the constant attacks by lvl 70 Horde (No matter your lvl, and yes, alliance does it as well) but I like it just the same. I currently have a 65 Hunter and a 53 Warlock. All in All i would say the game is worth a try, download the free trial and see what you think, you can never go wrong with a trial...

Experienced players who play 10+ hours a day are more likely to hit 60 in about 2 weeks. Atleast thats about how long it was taking me to raise a new 60. As for 60-70 if you keep up that amount of play time, you can do it in about a week if not less. I really wouldn't recommend playing any game that much though. You'll get burnt out quickly and obviously you won't have time for things in life that really matter(friends and family).
But to answer your original question. You can still start a new character in WoW and have lots of fun. Its still worth getting into if you havn't played it yet.

Yea, get the trial and give it a bash, it couldn't hurt
people makes alts all the time, so there should not be a problem finding people to play with if you are a social player that acturly seek outher players to play with (someone has to take the initiative)
if the game is good or not is up to you to deside.
WoW is the most complete and polished game on the market.
The only drawback is it doesnt have a lot of "depth"... so many people get bored shortly after reaching the level cap, which isnt a very difficult goal.
After playing WoW you will have a higher standard for what an MMO should be like.. making it harder to be content with others games.
If you are considering trying WoW try it. You will love it or hate it, and most people love it!

WoW is a good experience from L1 yo L60.. I cannot comment on L70 since I quitted long before the expansion. I personaly don't like WOW in general but the game was interesting to play and the storylines and such are pretty fun to follow. The only thing I found odd is that at L60, I got the feeling that I had finished the game and that the raid instances were like cheap part two of the movie. The adventure simply stops when you're max level, the game quickly goes into that Farming/Raid mole and it really becomes time consuming.
If that style suits you then yes, jump on WOW and have fun, you won't regret it. If you're looking for a very long term game that will still be alive in 5 years, then you might want to look away.
The artistic direction of WOW is good and fun.
The game will provide alot of humorist moments.
The gameplay is smooth and I don't consider this a very buggy game.
The interface is slick and easy to use, when you're ready you can also add user made interface.
The storyline is actually interesting.
The game is casual until you hit the high levels.
If you never played an MMO, then this is a good place to start since most MMOs are often more complex then WOW.
I enjoy WoW very much. And I have been playing since launch. Many many people in these forums will tell you this game gets boring quick, PvP sucks, and all the dungeons are the same blah blah blah. I personally love the PvP aspect. The dungeons are equally as exicting, and this game has never got boring for me in 3 years. If you wan't better opinions of this game then don't read this forum. Go read the official or unofficial WoW Forums.
I've found that to be true. WoW was the first MMO I played and I really liked it, so I went and bought loads of others but they all seemed pretty poor in comparison. Whatever faults WoW has, they're pretty minor and it's a very, very easy game to get into. So far, the only other game I've tried that has had a vague chance of pulling me away from it is Guildwars, but even that's not a patch on WoW.
raid,raid,raid,sell the stuff,raid,raid....
And dont expect other MMOs to be very different, this mainly goes to the people who complain that once you hit cap the game ends, well yea in a way it does that happens in every MMO, once you are done with your build and reach the cap you are more limited to what you can do. No game is perfect and some people just can't be pleased thats the way of the world.

Is WoW any good? 7 Million people can't be wrong....
McDonalds has served billions.
McDonalds has served billions.
And as far as fast food joints go, it kicks ass. If you go to McDonalds expecting a steak dinner, you'll be disappointed. If you go expecting a Big Mac, you will love it. Same thing with WoW.

True but I meant normally like 10 hours, 3 days a week. Most of the time I would farm and stuff. And yes, WoW isn't everything... I love playing outside more than WoW
