I'm bored to death with World of Warcraft. No, I didnt get to 70 but I just made too many alts and got bored of the game and for the past few days I've just been sitting here doing absolutely nothing. Anyway, I'm going to buy a new game. I tried the demo for city of heroes and it wasnt my thing. The first guild wars was a great game but I got bored around level 10. I was thinking about maybe getting Nightfall or Factions but I am not sure which one. Perhaps I should give EQ2 a fair try? The graphics in the demo just always pissed me off, they put too much detail into some things and not enough into others in my opinion. What else should I try?
The things that matter to me most in a game (in this order) are the graphics/interface/environment ,community, quests/PvE, and finally PvP. For example, WoW really didnt have good graphics when you really looked at things but the interface and animations which made everything look really smooth and the environmental effects just made everything awesome.

I'm running a 7800GS,1.5 gigs of ram, and a 3GHz P4 processor which isnt the best but I can definately run some modern games.

You, and the rest of the world. On more serious note, give city of heroes/villains another try. It's really quite entertaining. You could also try Perfect World or Granado Espada.
Get the station pack, you get all the station games, then you try them all for a month!
Yep that way instead of just one mediocre game you can have several mediocre games to choose from.

City of Heroes/Villains isnt really my thing.
Being a sword or fireball slinging medieval knight tickles my pickle more then anything else.
I also really like scifi games but I dont like AO and I cant seem to find any others that I like....
edit: I'll be back in a bit, playing the EQ2 demo giving it another try.

if you got bored at level 10 in guildwars i think you'll also get bored in any of the expansions. based on your list i'd say give eq2 another shot, and i agree with you completely about the detail levels, but it's an all around solid game.
maybe try lineage 2, it's a grindfest, but a very pretty game.
i just started playing perfect world, and i gotta tell you it's honestly better than 75% of the pay to play AAA games out there now, so maybe you wanna give that one a shot too.

What MMORPG's have you played that you played for a long time? Maybe the MMORPG genre just isn't your type of game. Seems like you don't get very far in the one's you've tried. If you played one a long time, but are looking for a new one, then tell us what you played before and what you liked about it and then maybe we can lead you in the right direction.
