Wow, I knew alot of people would sign up, but I didnt think it would be that many. From what I can tell theres only a couple thousand of us in beta atm.

yeah i really hope i get in the beta. I saw the video interview over at ign.com and the game looks great. The dark elf i think was on some floating platform and the orc actually got on the catapult and launched. I hope I get chosen....I got lucky with LOTRO but that wasnt that fun.

15 only, just think of how many spots have been Zipped of from Gold Farmers and botters. 15 is a drop in the bucket.
They wouldn't last 5 minutes anyway so there wasting there time.
That was a Magus on the floating Disc. Yes this game looks so badass. Cant wait to start the WAR soon.

I hope your friend used 15 different dxdiag reorts from 15 different computers. I'm no expert but thpse reports give detailed information and it would be very easy to spot a copy with the same serial codes.

Warhammer is not Vanguard. They are two completely different games. War is PVP, and Vangard was created for the Hardcore PVE whore.

Never played Vanguard, but wasn't its biggest problem massive instability caused by a rushed release. WAR on the other hand got pushed back specifically to sure up quality.
I noticed that alot of people are pumped up about this game. War might do well.

The best loot is awarded to peoples who raze enemy capital solely, thereby it is meant for PvP, not PvE-grouping. They have to fix this, and they don't want to...
And this is exactly why they would have troubles to break the 1 millions sub significantly. I have no doubt they will reach it...but breaking far away from it, upward...as long as the best loot is earnable only in PvP, I don't see that happening.
See, the market is roughtly twice bigger for a new game (it is a lot bigger then twice then what it used to be, but the competitors are also there), and they have a franchise power which is again twice more sub...takes DAoC subs and do a X4 and that will give you a fairly good idea of how the game will do. If they have less then that, they do poorly...if they have more, they do awesome. Getting X4 what DAoC uses to have at it peaks would only be redoing DAoC performance success-wise...which is very nice in itself. I just wish they would aim for more. Such as adding PvE-server that are group centered (not gaheris-whoring, we don't want that).

Whether or not i get into beta I will buy preorder and play from day one. First and only MMO i have wanted to try from day one

I disagree I think becouse the gear will be there for ppl who dare fallow the story and raid and destroy your enemys. And you are reworded for doing that just not with money and braging righting for a month but realy realy cool gear that will lay the smack down on your enemys faster then I see the game breaking the 1 million mark and breaking the 2 million mark. Mostly becouse people scream for a challange and change and this is both.

Lol, I signed up for this beta also, but to be honest there's a good chance I still wouldn't play it even if I did get a beta key.
Not really sure why I signed up for the beta really, seemed like a good idea at the time, but I have 0 interest in playing the game. Was just bored beyond all recognition so I was trying to get in on anything.
Even Tabula Rasa, though I'd be more interested in WAR than TR as I don't like future based games at all.

Agreed as well. This is the first MMO that I've actually been in anticipation of monthly newsletters and information. Also the first that I've watched from it's conception. And the only MMO that I've ever even thought about playing from day one.

Everyone compairs WoW to all the other MMO's like it created the avenue. Frankly there was a text D&Donline for aol in 95ish then UO (correct me if im wrong) and then EQ comes out and suddenly the world is talking. All wow did was go the next step. They didnt create anything they just added to it and changed it their way. War is to WoW what EQ is to EQ2 the next step for some.
War may not be a new idea but you know what ? It looks good to me and thats all I care about. Bash it go ahead play your game I have mine. Love it see you in game.
