Hey. I played EQ2 a couple months ago but quit cause I wanted to play WoW:BC too badly. I want to come back to EQ2. Im wondering if theres any armor sets like there is in WoW or FFXI, and what about raids later on where you can get I dunno what they're called in EQ2 but im gonna call them "epics" for now =X. Thanks alot

with eof u can get a few armor sets , the class legendary armor sets ar around lvl 67 and u get them from some open dungeons or instanzs in eof.

the fabled ( epic raidversion ) set drops from several nameds in eof raid dungeons.

the kos content has also a set , but with no set bonus , its called relic and drops from all kos t7 raid instanz from trashmobs.

There are several different "sets" of armor from different locations in the game.

This is my relic set. No set bonus, but they fit together in name and look. From KoS raid trash mobs.

This is my Nemesis set which drops from names from the same raid instances.

Then  there are raid set pieces from EoF raids. I only have a few pieces from this set. Mine's the black batman outfit. These actually come with bonuses for having 3, 5 or 7 of the set.

And there are also 2 group sets per archetype from names in EoF group dungeons, which also have bonuses for having 3 or 6 of the set. I don't carry that set with me, but it is dirty blond in color, for me, and has a different distinctive look. The swashy/brigand set is called McCabe's Double Dealing, and of the Keen set (example: Chestguard of the Keen). I have a full set of the McCabe's but only a couple pieces of the Keen.

This is the McCabe's Double Dealing set:

For weapons, besides the normal drops, there is the Prismatic questline starting around level 46, Peacock questline around level 56, Claymore around 66, and Swords of Destiny around 66.

These are my Prismatic and Peacock rewards. Prismatic in her right hand (your left), and Peacock in her left (your right). I actually use the Peacock rapier during really long fights for the mana regen.

    This is my Claymore reward:

This is my SoD, or Soulfire, quest reward. There is a Legendary (group) version, and a Fabled (raid) version, but they look identical:

There will be an epic series for each class when RoK comes out. This will supposedly be an "Ultimate Weapon of Destruction" (until the next expansion ). These will also come in a group version and a raid version.
