Hello, this is my first post here, so i hope i'm posting in right section. Anyway, there was held and event recently for the game called Darkness & Light* like month ago. There was diffrent categories, and i won in one of them. When the contest closed, administrators asked all the winners for personal informations and said that they will send the prizes in some time. About 2 weeks later, i think everyone recived an email from them, that there are shipping errors, and therefor they cant buy the event prizes in our countrys, so they will send them from korea (i think it was actually other country, but cant remember now). After +/- 2 months, the prizes havent came yet. I tryed to make contact with administrators to solve this problem, but they seems to evade not only my, but other users emails, posts and private messages on their forums. Is there anything we could do? It's not right that not only they make fake contests, but also take our personal informations (they can kill now us! :P) and evade us.
*I don't want to write what the game is about and so on, if you want any informations about it, go to www.global.onlinedal.com or visit their forums at www.global.onlinedal.com/forum

Have you tried reporting them and also start watching your bank accounts and personal stuff, never know they might be on the level or maybe not. Well I say we all go to there site and run a muck about it.
Hey i went to the sites you posted and nothings there, cannot find server, what gives.
And who should i report them to?
Your first clue that the developers of this game are fools, should be that they named it Darkness and Light, which is too similar to a disaster of a game called Dark and Light. Only idiots would choose a name similar to a failed game's name for their product.
Second, it's gonna be another Korean item shop game after the initial free enticement, that's rather obvious. All item shop games are awful. They are designed poorly and their main function is to compel you to keep spending money in their item shops.
I hope you didn't give them any financial information for say shipping and handling charges? Since they aren't based in the US, there isn't much you can do to force them to honor their contest. Companies in the US have to register with each state when offering contests, sweepstakes, giveaways, and are legally obligated to award all prizes.
Looks like you just got yourself owned buddy.
First things first mate, never trust an oversea's company who do not need to follow your home countries laws on false advertising and fake contest holdings.
Did you try to call?
Direct contact is usually the best measure, but I doubt anything good will come out of this. As long as you just gave your basic info and no account stuff I suggest you walk away and forget about it, after all you aren't getting jack out of it now, chances are you won't ever.
