    I don't think so..if you buy the box you get the first week or two free, but you'd have to buy the box thus its not exactly free in a certain sense..

    Their might be buddy keys, I cant recall any though.

    Free? No But for 3.99 you can try it out! Its call the FFXI Starter Kit which was just introduced just the other day. I remcommend it greatly to anyone who wants to try ffxi out.

        I have seen this starter kit, more then likely what I will end up doing. Was just checking to see if there was any way to avoid going to the store.
