What do you want from Age of Conan?

I wrote this thread because I'm interested in seeing what other people really want to get out of this game. For example ... I'm looking forward to this game so that my guild can establish themselfs as a smaller elite PvP force, that PvE's together also. We've always been a tight group of friends, and we're interested in finding a few more people like us. I want to find the type of game I lost when UO turned sour. Guild Rivals, and epic battles against people we know, and love(to hate).

Pretty much the same. Plus the new fighting system. Game sounds fantastic. I like to PvP a lot to btw
I'm not real picky just a game thats fun and keeps me interested.
It doesnt have to be any kind of WoW or whatever killer just has to be fun to me.
Who knows I may even try my hand a PvP.
Rivalry and the sense of danger.
Realistically though, I just want to be surprised and let down by the lack of what we are being shown. If they make a decent enough game with what they are proposing, i'll be all over it.
I want sweet pvp opportunities that actually involves a battle system that most closely resembles that of Oblivion (or at least it's as close as it gets for a mmo at the time)
It is looking as if AoC will bring that to the table.
Looking forward to the combat system as well, and PVP. Not to mention finally ridding myself of those dreaded elves and dwarves.
The game looks like it has alot of unique ideas, and I'm really looking forward to giving it a shot.

I expect a MMORPG that's overall as amazing and well-done as AO at it's peak.
Plus a PvP endgame that picks up the (thus far) unrivaled DAoC RvR system.
All of it taking place in a kinda refreshing (non-standard-fantasy), harsh and mature setting.
I want to join a big army and do seiges (PvP). Didnt try that in any other MMO before.
I want a breath of fresh air
Sick and tired of WOWEQ clones
I want the graphics to be above average.
I want a fun game
I want PVP that's worth my time, and a combat system that feels like more than a simple stat calculator.

I think that mmorpg developers need to stop viewing WoW as the competitor to emulate and beat. Instead, they need to develop great mmorpgs. While typical mmorpg players also think that WoW is a great game, they are also hungry for a new mmorpg. Something other than WoW. Many of players had high hopes for Vanguard, and have higher hopes for Warhammer Online (looks like a WoW clone), Pirates of the Burning Sea, and Age of Conan. MMORPG developers will do themselves a disservice by creating a WoW clone. We already have WoW: we don’t need another. Basic, World of Warcraft is killing the mmorpg industry.
Instead, design a game with the typical mmorpg players in mind. I do not think that it is given that the WoW playerbase will move to another mmorpg. They will play WoW and move to another great game. WoW got so many players because it appealed to people who don’t find “traditional” MMORPGs appealing.
But maybe I am wrong.
I, personally, want many things from AoC, but most of all i want a Beta invite LOL
I want the game, installed on my computer, RIGHT NOW.
I just think the game as a whole. Its just new and innovative.From the idea of lvling up solo the first 20 lvl's, then meeting your mates for the first time to discuss how pimped the game is:D The combat, siege warfare, violent world, so many things
What a refreshing change it would be if for once we could have a game that's not filled with bugs and massive PvP that's not spoiled with lag. That would bring back my faith in this industry.
Freedom in PvP is always good. I hate when game developers come up with weird artificial rules to prevent competition.
Guild versus guild PvP (that actually works). This would take PvP to a whole new level, as it would bring in politics (no, in-game politics IS fun, adds depth to PvP).
Crafting&market system that isn't fubar because of inflation after few months (not much hope here I fear).
Mature playerbase (tihs can go either way). I don't want to see game forums filled with "xxx is owwerpowwered, nerf NOW!", "waaagh, xxx stole my candys, this game SUX!" (WoW anyone?).
The more I watch the E3 video the more I am impressed with Funcom. They have done a really great job with this game so far and I hope it continues. I will surely be playing this game for quite some time. What I want out of AOC ? A sense of excitement, danger, and lots of killing in this game which also includes lots of PVP action. Just bring it all on
I want from AoC Complete and Utter Immersion to take me away from this real world we Live in called Life..........Heh.
