Well, im bored and curious so heres a couple questions...

When did you start playing?

 - For me it was July 2003 a few months before ToA came out.

What server did you start on?

- I started on galahad in Hibernia.

What was your first class?

- My first class was a ranger, but my first level 50 was a Valewalker.

I had some good times in DAoC, my neighbors got me into it and it was fun for the 4 years I played. Now I think I am finally done for good and waiting for WAR.

I started playing around when SI come out.  Early 2003 i think it was.

    I started on Lancelot, Albion

I tried a few classes, but i sticked with Friar, who was my first character to hit level 50.

DAoC was a very good game in its prime time, I had heaps of fun, but new games started coming out with more features which lead me to quit DAoC. I have quit 2 or 3 times returning each time, but i have quit for good now.

    second week it was out.

DAOC is still the best mmorpg made to bad most people will not give it a try.

    MLF hib - warden

    - warden too 50..

I can't remember what i first made - i switched to warden 2 days after i got the game so :).

Agreed DAOC was my frist MMO and in my opinion, even though i am retired from it, still is the best.

I started about 6 months after launch

lance/albion from first log until last

    Toons

    50 paly

    50 inf

and i think 20-30 lvs tried of everything in between.. I hope WAR can atleast live up to DAOC perhaps surpass it.

I started on MLF about 4 months before SI came out.... My first character was a Paladin (level 8 or so), then I made a Sorcerer (back in the day when finding pets was a real challenge) and got to about 20, then I made an Infiltrator which I got to 50 around January (2 months after the SI release).

Was not happy with Infiltrator, so I went over to Mordred and rolled a Necromancer and leveled him to 50.  All my friends left Dred however, so I went back to MLF and rolled a Minstrel up to 50.... had fun with him for a few months, but went back to Dred and rolled up a 50 Hunter in the Shadowclan.   Then my old guild on MLF decided to migrate en'masse to Dred, so I rolled up a 50 Healer and 50 Shaman and had a great time until the pressures of TOA started to make it so you could not compete on Dred w/o completing its quests.

I left right after the release of the new Frontiers expansion and returned for a brief time on the Classic Servers rolling up a 50 Vampiir, 49 Ranger, 49 Light Eld and 49 Void Eld (yes, leveling is much easier now days than before)

Overall, DAOC was and is my all time favorite game, and I'm hoping WAR will bring back some of the magic one day.

Started playing the December of 2001 started on Alb Lancelot but moved to Alb Merlin a couple weeks later to play with some real life friends. My first 50 was a rejuv cleric, followed by a 50 Friar which became my main.

Played for four years and there are times I still miss the game.

DOAC is still the MMO I judge other games by, My first and still my favorite.

I started playing about 1 month after the game came out.

My first char was a Paladin in Igraine. I also played a Druid on MLF so I could play with my friends.

I don't play any games right now because my gaming rig is down and the one I'm using to surf the boards isn't even good enough to play DAoC. :(

    When did you start playing?

     - The week of release.  Second week of October 2001.. Played for 5 years, still favorite game.

What server did you start on?

    - Midgard / merlin.

    What was your first class?

    - First toon was norse skald, but 2nd toon was healer and the toon i played the most in rvr.

If DAOC was released today, with the content it now has, and slightly better graphics, it would be huge.  I have no doubt.  Still a great game if youre looking for something to play but theres no advertising push for years so pops are way down.

I started about 2 weeks after release on Mid Galahad.  Played there with a RL friend who got me into the game.

I was part of Loki's Minions, damn that was a good guild.  I rolled a skald and got him all the way to about 21 before real life caught up to me and I had to leave the game all together.

About 8 months later I had the time and money to play again so I went back and started fresh on mid merlin.  Rolled a berserker and became a part of another great guild  Dragons Blood and I keep in contact with some of the people that were in it.  Then mythic decided to nerf my berserker so I went over to igraine and played a nightshade with a bunch of other real life friends.

As of late I tooled around on classic servers, got another 50 under my belt but the game is no longer what I remember it to be.  The people have changed, and are no longer as friendly as I remember some of them being.  They are all too obsessed with RPS and having their solo fights and making up their own rules of engagement...  It just took away from the game in it's entirety.

It was a good game when it came out and it still is the best IMO but the people that are left detract from the fun if you ask me.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

     - October 2001

What server did you start on?

    - Palomides (Albion)

    What was your first class?

    - Mercenary

    What was your first 50?

    - Skald (Guinevere Midgard)

    What's your favorite class?

    - Anything with a bow and stealth.

    What's your favorite character?

    - My animist.  Very soon to be the first toon I have that will be LGM in all 6 trades.  Also the only character class I know of that's ever taken out a full group of level 50 toons solo. (For the mentally challenged- bot-humping is not solo.)
