lack of WAR beta leaks

As many have noticed, WAR beta has begun.. and there are still no beta leaks. Many of us are taking this as a good sign, and I just wanted to add a little tidbit of non-information here.
On another forum there is a thread started by someone who is in beta... the NDA for WAR allows you to say that you are in fact in beta, but no more.
This beta tester, much later in the thread... stated that he wished he could break the NDA, but he cant. He was then asked by other posters whether he wished he could break the NDA like in the case of Vanguard to warn people, or if it was for some other reason...
his response was: "I wish I could break NDA, but I would lose my account and I would very much like to keep it."
'Nuff said?
I hope I get in so I can watch everyone else scramble for the info I couldnt share =P

I think my answer is more then I would like to admit.
Why aren't we seeing any leaks? This is why right here
Yesterday we removed several more people from the Beta for NDA violations. I've said it before and I'll say it again, however secure you THINK the location you're spilling your guts about Beta is, trust me, it isn't. There's always someone there who will turn you in for the slightest chance of getting into beta. And you know, from our point of view, that's a great thing. Our numbers stay the same, one out, one in.
So if you get into the Beta, please keep in mind, it's not only us that is out there scouring the web for NDA violations, it's everyone else who isn't in as well.

The fact people aren't willing to risk losing their beta accounts speaks volumes. Means they want to be in the beta. That means they are enjoying it. As I said and the OP mentioned, that little fact right there speaks volumes on the subject.
There have been Beta leaks, but EA Mythic has been implementing a zero tolerance policy on such people. Also some of the people banned from Beta for breaking the NDA is because of other fans who didn't get in, bring such leaks to the attention of EA Mythic, hoping to increase their chances at getting selected.

Think the reason noone has leaked is because none of the testers are actually playing it. Fronm the video I seen the game graphically looks uninteresting, the architecture is very boring in almost all the screens shots with bloom of death effect all over the place hiding the lack of any creativety in the map design. Any clean pictures they show with out the bllom look flat and very uninspired, as well as any of the video , the last video had the same exact loog fences as LotRO , but now that LotrO is out, it will be WAR who is riding coat tails.
WAR like Vanguard just came out to late, a lot of the hype fizzled and a lot of ppotential buyers are already looking at Conan . With the rest of the buyers saying F it , there is plenty F2p right now and will just wait for a truely pvp mmo Darkfall.
The devs in the video where another huge minus, they couldn't even express there ideas in words , so how can they do it in code.

Vanguard came out to late? The exact opposite, it came out to soon and undeveloped at that. WAR and Conan have both been in production for a while and have both been pushed back. You try to make it sound as if, just because Conan is coming out first, WAR will be a failure.
Geez it's justa game people, the newness will wear off fast.. better you are not in the beta then you have something to look forward to. Now if it was a million dollars, I would be first in line to turn your arses in!
Very few NA's have even gotten into the beta, thus the silence, yea they crack down on NDA violators, but I see the same thing in any beta I have joined.

I tend to agree with you Devony by a big margin, the less i know the better. I am a solo player and the next step is to turn off Public chat.

1) I know what NDA means, but what does it stand for?
2) If I was in WAR beta, I would duct-tape my mouth shut as soon as I got in. No way I'm risking losing my account. But still, a very very few number of people have spilled very few beans, so that just shows only the scammiest people are willing to not be able to play the game.

Conan might suck, WAR might suck, either way, I'm playing both. The best thing is that Conan comes out 4 months before WAR so if it sucks, I just jump to WAR

Is there even anything in that game TO leak? Seeing as how 3/4 of the game isn't even implemented... lol.

I am sure you could get creative and use friends to posy info that you emailed them and such. But if you are enjoying the game, why would you do that? I mean, you could tell your friends about it (and they'd turn you in for a beta slot for theirown, but you could tell them =p) but why would you ask them to post it on a site? Plus, most fan sites would remove it anyway.
The thing is,there isn't much to leak. What are you going to leak? That the game is unplayable? People had played it at conventions, so we know it's playable. Will you leak elf classes? Those probably aren't in yet, so you can't do that. What else is there? You'll leak abilities for classes? There is already (outdated) list of class abilities gathered from various game conventions, besides, ~6 months from release, any abilities you list will likely be changed before release, combined with a large chunk of abilities already being known, what's the point?
Well, what else is there to leak? How rvr works? We already know that. How city sackign works? Probably not beign tested yet, and we already know the basic idea. So, what else will you leak? Crafting info? Probably not in yet. So? There is just nothign worthwhile to leak at this stage. Combine this with a chance of being kicked out of beta (which you enjoy, let's assume) and why do it?
Mythic releasing plenty of info and allowing people to play whatever they have implemented at different game conventions pretty much makes them immune to beta leaks. Oh, and having a game that is playable and fun might help too. There is just nothign to leak =p Most of the info is already known so I doubt beta testers could leak any breaking news info.
PS: imo, 6months from release, the only reason for beta leaks to appear that early from release is if the game is ither unplayable or the devs claim they got things implemented that are no where to be found in beta. Since war plays decent (at least at conventions) withotu too many bugs/crushes, and since they have already shown most of the things they talk about, nither of these reasons apply.
Now, if 1-2 months away from release there are no beta leaks, then you can take it as a possitive. Not havign any beta leaks right now just means that war isn't bugged beyond unplayable and that devs didn't lie (too much) about things that are implemented.
