Bobjones and Oracle united against a common foe... who will win in this great battle.

 

The forum flaming powers of Bob and Oracle or the overwhelming hordes of annoying smurfs and furbies... Only time will tell!

 

 

PS. Not meant to direct any hate towards either Oracle or Bobjones, I just think you guys need to stop arguing over the forums so much, lighten up a bit. You've got bigger issues to worry about, like how yer gonna take down Papa Smurf. image

    Lol.  I'll laugh at this post but I got to say one thing:

    I don't think it belongs here.  Move this post to "Off-topic" or "Spam."

    Well, it was either here, rumor room, wishing well, guild, or suggestions.

     

    So this was the only spot I knew to post it where those of us who see these two post would actualy get it. I never head to the General Catagories, not sure if they argue or even post there themselves, and they have a right to know when someone posts about them image

    I'm familiar with the smurfs but not really all that familiar with Furbies, can someone enlighten me?  And Bobjones1303 would so obviously be my sidekick... the annoying puny kind that no one wants but we keep around to say things like, "holy motzerella (OracleP4)" and "Ka-bam"... etc...

    Welcome to Furbies 101, I'll be your instructor today:

    The FURBY interactive plush toy was first introduced in 1998.

    According to a Media Director at MIT in 1999, the processing power in a FURBY toy exceeded the processing power in the first Lunar Module to land on the moon.

    The original FURBY had 24 names, three different pitches of voice, six fur patterns and four eye colors (blue, green, brown, grey).

    The official language of FURBY was Furbish. Remember what it meant when it said ah-may koh koh? Or mee mee a-tay? How about noo-loo and dah doo-ay wah? (see below for definitions)

    FURBY was once banned from the Pentagon because it was said it could "learn".

    FURBY was named the Top Toy two years running and over 12 million FURBYs were sold worldwide between October 1998 and December 1999.

    If you laid 12 million FURBY toys head to toe, they would wrap around the Earth 783 times!

    Between fur colors, eye colors and the sound of its voice, there are over 1000 different combinations of FURBY toys available.

    One FURBY toy could influence another - one could make another sneeze, or start giggling and make all the FURBY toys around it giggle too.

    Furbies are capable of over 300 different unique combinations of eye, ear, and mouth movements.

    FURBY BABIES had 25% more vocabulary and 233% more phrases than the original FURBY toys.

    FURBY often wanted you to ah-may koh koh (pet me more). It wasn’t very noo-loo (happy) when it was mee mee a-tay (very hungry). But loved to have dah doo-ay wah (big fun)!

    Furbies are funny.  You could hit it and it would say something like, "me being petted", or "me love you".  I had one once, but it wouldn't shut up, so i tore out the batteries and chucked it across the room.  It is amazing how well they fly. image

    I just wasn't sure if discussion about you, me, smurfs and furbies was really on the same level as discussion about MMORPGs. But we seem to have attracted a number of votes nonetheless, and the results not looking too good so far.

    All the smurfs are probly on crack or something (noticably by all the happy attitudes)  We can stomp on the villiage and they will all run away in fear.  Papa smurf we will kill and then hopefully all the others would go jump off a cliff or something.  The furbies......that is the scary part.  If you hit them they think you are petting them.  But they need you to feed them, so if we just hide and they have no one to feed them, they will all die of stravation.  Then we can kill the remainders with swords and giant bricks.

    Furbies rock! I have a pair, well my kids do.

    They learn from stuff you do to them and say around them. If you teach one a word, it can teach it to another furbie if they are near each other.

    In fact, they were so good at repeating stuff they heard, that they were banned from the pentagon.
