hey all, just joined up here and was wondering what mmorpg I should play, I recently quit EQ2, cause the server I was on didnt seem to have very many players, I saw 1 every 5-7 min. Now I have tried ALOT of mmo's in the last 2 years or so, and I was wondering what a good mmo, with lots of players, that I could try. And I am not a fan of WoW >_>; so anyway, yea, I liked EQ2 but the lack of people lv 10-30 sorta killed it for me.....

Well... Theres quite a few that are quite fun...
Guild Wars is fun and had alot of solo and group content
FFXI has a good story, plenty of people, and alot of group content
WAR will offer great PvP and so will AoC

Maybe you'll find a game that is worth your while...but most of us are waiting for the next series of games to come out...right now is a sort of Dark Age as far as decent MMO's are concerned, at least in my opinion. Older games tend to have a good loyal following as they set the grounds for the games that would follow... The newer one's always seem to lack something that grips the most hardcore gamer...beit crafting/pvp etc. Don't get discouraged though, there's bound to be a game listed here, F2P or P2P, that you'll feel right at home in.
EDIT: My arrow doesn't point to the links but nevertheless click on the different forums for the various games...wouldn't want people thinking my profile is the ticket to MMORPG salvation LOL...the arrow just kinda points that way. Sorry!

Rappelz is a free to play game with great features. WAR is forthcoming, in half a year or so, you cant play it now, and AoC is supossed to be released october 30th this year.

level 21 in ffxi? you got nowhere in the game bud, try more.
ugh I really would of LOVED FFXI if it had more Quests, I had the guide and everything, I even bought a second version of the game when I lost my acount info, it was really cool and all, but seemed like an endless grind until you hit 30, when you could get advanced jobs
