Point is, those are the requirements for the game being listed. So I imagine there is a reason they are not, as the game has been around for quite a long time. It is not a new find.
The creator of Sherwood Dungeon, Gene Endrody, was interviewed once on "how one man made an MMORPG". Not sure about the game quality, but that is one motivating statement there.
Maybe it'll be pretty okay, but tastes vary as usual~
I must say I am impressed with that. Who cares if its flash game looks pretty cool for a one man project :P Certainly better than many asian mmos i have played lol

Just as an FYI guys, Dofus is a game made in the macromedia flash/shockwave suite, and it's listed here. Contests, coverage, and listing. Therefore, flash/shockwave doesn't make it so it can't be listed... either that, or they're hypocritical.
Maybe Dofus got in before they refined the rules. :P Coincidently I am pretty sure the company that publishes dofus advertises on this site very often, and does contests. Dont have to be a genius to figure out why it got into the list.

ok, changed the OP.
wish I could delete this one now.
Thanks. for a F2P it isn't a bad game at all.
Sort of like a MMORPG you can play during lunch breaks at work. I think this one will replace my Adventure Quest addiction.
MMorpg.com is not adding non 3d mmorpgs to the list at the moment I believe.
Requirements for listing:

I think you not only need to read the banner I have up there. But also LOOK at the game and you will see that it is a 3D MMORPG.
And your point is?

Can a server hold 500 people , that is the question.
Also, since their site says you don't need to make an account to play, I would question the persistent world aspect, as well.
it does save your characters though, so it fits the minimum requirements for a persistant world.
Ah, okay. That's what I was wondering on that part.
what about the Client/server requirement?
the rule speaks of game made in java, that is a real programming language, but this is made with shockwave? so it would not fit there?
"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime"
Yah that might be it volkmar.

But yeah, just a kind of reference there.
