Should the orcs be a playable race?  Why or Why not?

    image  YES! I would rather play as an Orc than a Troll or Ogre.

    I always thought they would of added orcs for us to play. I guess becuase they are such a huge race that we fight in the game they chose not to though.

    I played as a Snow-Orc once on the test server.  That was so fun!  The best time I had was playing as a lvl 1 skeleton in the newbie area where the erudites fight.  That was one of the best features for a refreshing change of pace.  The ability to play as a monster, on the test server only though. I wonder if they will have that on eq2....

    Orcs would be fun. Something other then a half animal race would rock.

    Never!  That would be as bad of a mistake as when they made Half Elves a playable race.

    They need to make a neat race like Pixies!  A race of rock people could be fun too.

    Okay yeah, Rock Race would... well Rock. That would be a nice change for sure.

    They should create a race that's pretty rare, and or completely different.  Orcs/Elves/Dwarves can all go down the shoots.  their over drawn, over played, over advertised as the mythical creatures of fantasy!!

    C'mon, new races, new creatures please image (Nice pixie/Rock creature idea!)

    There are a number of races in EQ that could make it as playable races. Orcs, gnolls, and goblins could all be interesting choices. I think the real fun would be playing a brownie.

    Hehe, Brownies!!  I always liked them cute little punks.  I was walking around in one of the faydwers once, and I had one start attacking me outta no where.  It nearly killed me, but it dropped some really cool armor!  I later found out that it was the named brownie for one of the ranger quest, if I remember correctly.  Anyway, I think a brownie race would rule!

    They should completely open up races to include anything that has a large population base in the world.  Especially that which is semi-organized and includes some civilized evolution. 

    Orcs would be a great example, maybe a high-difficult race to play since you don't start with mage shops, fine weapons or any major cities to call your own... that would be a great skew on the old big-city lost-boy formula.

    I could see orcs roaming the world in small numbers, scavenging from the land as they need to since no civilized race would give them the time of day.

    Why making orcs a playable race? Trolls aren't good enoght? If even trolls don't have a good popularity, I mean, only a few players will play with them, so why making orcs playable? Only for 100 players use them? Don't waste your time...
