i am currently playing d&d online, i enjoy it alot but i have issues with glitching in game and haveing to restart the client... prolly more b/c of my system set up.
i play on a laptop with a wireless conection (shared by 1 other laptop) with mid range cable internet.
i have decent sys specs 2gp prosseor 1gp ram.
i don't realy want to quit play ddo with there upcoming sever merge i think it will be an improvement, and if i buy a better router might fix my problem.
so my question is what games would u all recomend?
and i relay don't want this to turn in to a omg u should play ___ bc is so rocks and blah blah... i want compair and contrast i want reasons why your particlar game is enjoyable.
before ddo i played diablo 2 religiously for a year. witch that year was fresh restart, i had previous experiance playing it.
feel free to ask questions if any one wants to know more of what im looking for, but atm i dont realy know.

Do you want an mmo that takes awhile to level or are you more casual? Also is human interaction a must majority of the time? (In some older mmo's people have been a high level for awhile and there are few new people running around)

A work in progress: (Update: 08/09/10)Easily find your favorite type of MMO
well in ddo its player intereaction is one one the key points, its required for successfull charicter building. i like to intereact with people regularly but it ddo its almost a fault, when there are not a lot of players on at a given time your sucess of doing any thing is slim. witch turbines server merge comeing up is supose to help.
as for your other point in ddo while the lvl cap is dramaticly low (14) it takes a while to reach that level, when i was playing diablo2 i could make a char and have it to lvl 85 in 1 day, next day it would be 90+
so some happy medium would be nice, higher lvl cap but some balcence of experiance.
also im not a big fan of just killing stuff for exp, talking to npcs and compleating missions for exp is while balnced with exp from kills is what i like to see.
also you mentioned older games, i know some games have been out for quite some time, as long as there is new content being added i feel even an older game is worth my time.
If you like DDO, you will "probably" like lotro. I think i got another referral key for a 10 day trial if ya want to try it out before paying. I got the founder price of 9.99 a month so if you decide to keep playing, you'll get the same deal. PM a valid e-mail and i'll send ya the referral If your interested.
See you in the dream..
