in Everquest II

So i never played the original EQ cause i got hooked on UO for awhile and quite frankly the shit's been around too long for me to start at the very beginning (i hate starting games from the beginning when they've been out Forever) anywho.....

everyone's got their own opinion about this game, obviously, but i've heard more good than bad. i haven't checked up on it too much but am i gonna need to know anything about the EQ1 to play EQ2 or is it completely different???? Gimme some info plzzz.

    They are going to be completely different games so its probably better that you haven't played EQ.  Devs have been quoted as saying they wish they didn't call it Eq2 due to all the comparisons people are making and trying to hold onto old EQ mechanics and class design.  so not knowing all that and having a free mind is a good thing.  It may be the same company producing the game but its very different from believe gameplay which is a good thing.
