Downloading 15 day trial, what will i get?

Downloading the trial like the title says. What will i get what can i expect? A large player base? Crowded (is good to me). Fun ness? Worth paying for every month? Or should i wait for RO2? I can always just switch subs over to that(ro2) if i like it and it will be the same as continuing for RO1 just a better game hopefully

I wouldn't expect much now. There is a ton of content but in the crowded server Chaos, you probably won't recieve much help; and on the low pop server Sakray people will help, you just gotta find them. The tutorial is pretty informative. It might actually increase over the year, like about 5 hours ago Gravity released some very exciting news for Ragnarok Online. Revamped UI, Revamped PVP, new classes, instanced dungeons, moving and living NPCs, and Siege Battles. Alot of these are things people have been asking for some time and it could draw back old players. Also you can't switch characters to RO2 as it is a completely different game.
RO2 on the other hand I would definetly give it a try. Right now its in testing in Korea, only a small amount of its content is implemented up to level 30 and not even all of it, 1 race out of 3, the game is slightly grindy but not too much, only 2 stats work, and people are still playing it because they did other things right. The sheer variety of clothing, the equipment leveling, and the no set class are a step in the right direction for MMOs. When it is released those problems above probably also won't be around.
Is it worth a try?
Probably, but I been playing it since it went closed beta so I am a little bias.
Edit- In 2008 they are selling a Ragnarok Version for the Nintendo DS. That should be cool.
