is there more to this game then just destroying the other side?

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

just wondering if there is anymore to this game then just trying to beat the other army.

i heard that everysingle quest was in some way benifiting your army so does that mean there are no personal quests and stuff?

plus does anyone know if there are ranks? cause if there were it would be preatty sweet

    If you're looking to group up with a bunch of people and go kill some big monster for loot, they'll probably have something like that. It just won't be the primary focus of the game.

    I'm pretty sure there will be ranks in the game considering your avatar is apart of the elite military forces in the game.

    -- Ranks have not been discussed yet, but I would really doubt there won't be.  Also, in addition to ranks, you can also get trophies from your enemies to stick on your armor.  You killed 1000 Dwarves?  Why not hang a dwarfs head from your shoulder spike to show everyone your Dwarf killing prowess?

    Build your character up,Armor,stats,Level,Trophys,then when your done war war war war,and all types of it....*Cry* what more can you ask for?

    This game will focus on RVR(real vs realm) warfare.Will there be pve sure...but the focus is RVR.

      And here my friends all made fun of me.  My wife even laughed at me when i told her all I knew.  yet you all know more than I! 

     

    And as far as this being more than meets the eye?  Let us hope that this is the game we all thought WoW would be....but were so sadly let down with!

    Mythic has said we can expect personal type quests (like exploration quests) but they also generate Victory Points so when you do PvE content it contributes to the RvR - though less VPs than directly kiling players and such. 

    What do you mean by ranks?  PvP ranks?  Or ranks as in character levels?
