Not sure how good it will be but Citizen Zero is coming out for Xbox and PC.
i hope that somthin comes out cause my ps2 n gc are gettin cobbwebs

Yeah it's a real shame that true fantasy live online for xbox was cancelled, it looked so promising too, the movies were tremendous. I'm sure there's a lot of dissapointed xbox rpg fans out there now
I really wish there'd be a decent console rpg which could be played against pc players as well, the community would be massive on it. Although I still dream about a resident evil mmorpg, outbreak was a good start, but wasn't exactly an rpg
Suppose any console owners are stuck with playing phantasy star online, which isn't a bad thing at all, just wish there were other options out there for console mmorpg goodness.

True Fantasy Live online (for the Xbox) looked really good. In some categories it was actually better than any upcoming PC mmorpgs.
Strange how it got canned after like a year of production. Just like mythica. Stupid MS.
Luckily Xbox still has 2 more MMO games coming out. When they will come out or if they will make a release is anyones guess.
In my opinion, console mmorpgs aren't half as good as computers. Console games just don't have that edge, and i hate controllers. My mouse is like my 3rd hand so what would i do without it? Oh and plus, console games don't have keyboards. And if they say "well you can purcahse one" not everyone is going to purcahse it, therefore leaving some people stranded from communication?
I agree, MMORPGs dont deserve to be on console but hey, thats my opinion, who cares about me

Well actually that is exactly what I mean....only it won't cost 2k-4k, and you won't have to upgrade it every 6 months...oh and you'll be resting on your couch with your friends, all with controllerrs in hand, playing your favorite MMORPG as a group....oh and your friends won't have to lug their computers to your house...ala a LAN party....because of the multiple controllers that consoles support...so yes is the answer to your question...Xaldor

First of all, I can get a pretty nice computer for well under a thousand dollars. Moreover, upgrading a computer is MUCH easier than having to buy a new console every year (since new ones come out every year, leaving old ones outdated) because you don't have to go out and buy the games all over again. Besides, everyone has a computer these days.
Computers are easier, cheaper, do LOTS more than consoles, and MMORPGs should never, ever, be on a console.

You can get a PC for a grand..that is true, but try playing WoW or EQ2 on that PC when those games finally come out...also the life cycle of a console is about 5 years...granted at the end of the life cycle, the games start looking a bit dated compared to PC's...ie. PS2 games especially. But consoles do NOT come out every year...Xaldor
Ok there are many flaws in your statement. First of all, and most importantly is the fact that if you have multiple people playing at the same time, your either going to need multiple screens, or it will be split screen. Now personally, split screen gets VERY annoying. I would much rather like to choose my own resolution on my own monitor. Second of all, again, you need keyboards to communicate.
And yes, your console would be outdated much faster then any computer would. To upgrade your computer, you can do it how you want with a variety of options including graphics card, sound card, RAM, motherboard etc. etc... With a console, the only people who truly know how to update it are the developers themselves.
Now to play EQ2 or WoW on your PC will be easy. Set the graphics to near low until you want to upgrade your computer. A console also sets the limited amount of graphics available. If you want better graphics on a console, its not happening. Your stuck until their outdated. When PS2 first came out it could be owned by any computer, i think its pathetic. The graphics aren't good at all. Xbox is slightly better, but still can be owned again by a computer.
So kids listen up and hear what i have to say. Stick with your computer, its just better. Also, remember to drink your milk.
haha - nah its your choice, go with console or PC or Both! But i just prefer PC due to its vast amount of available upgrades!

Gonna stick up for Xaldor a bit here.
He doesnt argue that consoles are better than PC's, or that they are cheaper/easier or anything else. All he has really said is that they are fully capable of playing an MMORPG, which they are.
So MMORPG's will be released on consoles more and more in the future, and there is nothing we can do about it.
I am just glad they wont be playing on our servers though, because your average console owner is younger than your average PC gamer.
